Why do all the lights stay on and the Motorvac 500-1125B unit gives a steady tone when connected to a battery?

This issue could stem from several factors: * Verify that the battery voltage is at a good level (12.5 volts) and properly connected. * Note that the unit isn't designed to operate using a booster pack. * Try connecting the unit to a new, fully charged battery. * Inspect the wiring for any signs of damage.

What to do if the Motorvac 500-1125B unit does not power up and no LEDs are illuminated?

If your Motorvac unit isn't powering up and no LEDs are lit, here are a few things to check: First, examine the battery connection to ensure the polarity isn't reversed and that the connection isn't loose. Also, the circuit breaker might have tripped (it resets automatically). Finally, the battery itself may be faulty.

What to do if fluid is not going into the waste tank during inline service with my Motorvac Other?
    • T
      taylortimothyAug 25, 2025
If the DRAIN LED is illuminated (indicating the unit should be draining) and the pressure gauge shows a reading, but no fluid enters the waste tank, it means the solenoid valve isn't switched. A good 12 volts are required for the solenoid to operate. This problem can also be caused by low battery voltage, a defective power cable, or a poor wiring connector between the board and solenoid.

Why won't the start light stop blinking when the engine is started on my Motorvac 500-1125B?
    • G
      garretterikaAug 29, 2025
If the start light continues to blink after the engine starts, observe the pressure gauge to see if fluid or pressure is reaching the machine. It's possible that the CLEAN FLUID and Inlet hose may be reversed, or the vehicle may need to be placed in neutral to achieve pressure. The vehicle may also be of a low-pressure design or have a thermostat.

What to do if Motorvac 500-1125B unit will not start and the light (LED) is on below the ‘fill switch’?
    • D

If the Motorvac unit doesn't start and the LED below the 'fill switch' is on, check the gauge for any residual pressure. The issue might also be due to pressure in the dirty hose, a defective pressure switch, or wiring problems.
