and attach with two Short Bolts
using nuts and washers provided.

shown with Long Bolts using

Turn drum over, measure and mark the center of the bottom.
Center the template on the bottom of the drum and secure
with tape. Drill two 3/16" Funnel holes and three 5/16"
Feeder Leg holes.
Using a Hole Saw, drill a 2-1/4" hole in the center of the
bottom of your drum.

Summary

Drilling Drum, Barrel, or Bucket

Drill Feeder Mounting Holes

Drill two 3/16" funnel holes and three 5/16" feeder leg holes in the drum bottom.

Drill Main Feed Opening

Use a Hole Saw to drill a 2-1/4" hole in the center of the drum bottom.

Mounting the Feeder

Attach Funnel to Drum

Place funnel inside drum, attach with short bolts, nuts, and washers.

Mount Feeder Assembly to Drum

Turn drum upside down, place feeder, attach feeder legs with long bolts.

Programming the Feeder

Set Feed Dispensing Amount

Regulate feed amount by setting switches for desired run time.

Set Daily Feeding Schedule

Feeder runs twice daily; evening feed time is modifiable.

Installing Battery and Operating

Install Battery and Test Feeder

Install 6-Volt battery, connect clips to terminals, and test the feeder.
