Stop the eng ine an d disc onn ect the spa rk plug lead us ing h eat re sistant gloves.
Che ck blad e attachment bolt is tig ht.
Che ck cond ition of b lade. If seriously w orn or da mag ed repla ce with a new on e.

Stop the eng ine an d disconnect the spa rk plug lead us ing h eat re sistant gloves.
Che ck and m ake sure the re is n o build up of grass inside the casin g.
Che ck grass catcher is allowing a ir to flow throu gh th e fab ric; if it is clogged it sho uld be washe d
carefully.
If th e grass ca tche r is n ot clog ged rais e the he igh t of cut to increase airflo w.
Che ck to ensure th e en gine is run nin g at the correct spee d, (ap proxim ately 3 000 rpm).
If co nditions are too s evere to u se the gra ss catche r, remove it an d work with the deflec to r in po sition.
