Halogen ovens –designed as the appliances using the hot air for cooking purposes – belong
to the most interesting new solutions on household appliances market. The functioning prin-
ciple of the present appliance is based upon forced circulation of hot air stream. Contrary to
conventional ovens with heat transfer through the walls, bottom or the lid of the dish, the
product in our appliance is directly heated with hot air. Therefore the time required to pre-
pare the meal is reduced significantly. The air stream heated by heating element is supplied
to the area around the product and the latter is roasted from all sides uniformly. Therefore
any rotating or mixing in course of roasting is unnecessary. The roasting and cooking process
