Overview

The V 308 Injector Cleaner & Tester is a mechatronics product designed for diagnosing and cleaning fuel injectors. It combines ultrasonic cleaning technology with microcomputer oil pressure closed-loop control for cleaning and detection. This equipment simulates various engine operating conditions to clean and inspect fuel injectors for automobiles and motorcycles, making it an essential tool for automotive repair, maintenance, research, and training.

Function Description:

The primary functions of the V 308 include:

  • Ultrasonic Cleaning: This feature allows for the simultaneous ultrasonic cleaning of single or multiple injectors. It effectively removes attachments and internal blockages from the injectors using penetrating and cavitation shock waves generated by ultrasonic waves. The cleaning process can be enhanced by turning on the heating switch.
  • Uniformity Detection: The device detects the uniformity of the injection volume for each injector, ensuring balanced fuel delivery.
  • Atomization Observation: Equipped with background light, the V 308 enables comprehensive and careful observation of the nozzle's spray atomization pattern.
  • Tightness Test: It can detect the tightness and dripping of the fuel injector under high pressure, identifying potential leaks.
  • Fuel Injection Volume Detection: This function measures the fuel injection volume of the nozzle under specific working conditions, such as consistent time and number of injections.

The device offers several test modes to simulate different engine conditions:

  • Idle Speed Test (02): Confirms proper injector installation and signal wire connection. Users can set the working time (typically 2 minutes) and adjust pressure (0.25-0.3 MPa) and pulse width (default 3ms) to simulate idle conditions.
  • Medium Speed Test (03): Similar to the idle speed test but for medium engine speeds.
  • High Speed Test (04): Similar to the idle speed test but for high engine speeds.
  • Accelerating Test (05): Automatically sets fuel pressure, working time (10s cycle), and pulse width. It continuously cycles three times to simulate the fuel injector's working condition and injection volume during uniform acceleration from 750 to 7500 rpm.
  • Variable Speed Test (06): Automatically sets fuel pressure, working time (10s cycle), and pulse width. It continuously cycles three times to simulate the fuel injector's working condition and injection volume at idling (750 rpm), medium speed (4500 rpm), and high speed (7500 rpm).
  • Leakage Test (07): Detects the tightness of the injector needle valve under high system pressure. Users can set the time (typically 1 minute), and the pulse width defaults to 3ms. No leakage should occur within one minute at 0.3Mpa simulated oil pressure.
  • Idle Speed Spray Volume Test (08): Simulates engine idling conditions to observe the fuel injection volume over a set number of times (typically 2000 times).
  • Medium Speed Spray Volume Test (09): Similar to the idle speed spray volume test but for medium engine speeds.
  • High Speed Spray Volume Test (10): Similar to the idle speed spray volume test but for high engine speeds.
  • Unit Info (11): Displays the product number and date of manufacture.

Maintenance Features:

  • Cleaning Agent Management: The ultrasonic cleaning agent should be drained and replaced regularly to prevent impurities from blocking the fuel injector. After draining, a small amount of testing agent should be injected to clean the tank's interior before adding 1L of new testing agent.
  • Fuse Replacement: The device has a fuse located in a square box on the power socket. If blown, it can be replaced.
  • Storage: For long-term storage, the testing agent should be discharged into a bottle and sealed. All connectors should be returned to the accessory box.
  • Cleaning: After use, the equipment should be wiped clean with a dry soft cloth.

Precautions:

  • The test device contains quartz glass, which is fragile; avoid bumping.
  • Ensure power supply is connected and the fuse is not blown if there is no digital display.
  • Never operate ultrasonic cleaning without cleaning agent in the tank to prevent damage.
  • Only use dedicated ultrasonic cleaning agent for fuel injection nozzles; other reagents may cause malfunctions and void the warranty.
  • Always clean the system when changing the test solution and add 1L of new solution.
  • Using unqualified testing agent can corrode the oil pump, supply pipeline, and cause pressure gauge failure.
  • Using other cleaning or testing agents may cause the equipment surface coating to peel off.
  • Kerosene, gasoline, or other similar agents are strictly prohibited as testing or cleaning agents, as they can damage "O" rings and rubber parts, leading to leakage.
  • Cleaning agent and testing agent should not be mixed.
