The TD4C Tabletop Low Speed Centrifuge, powered by MRP and distributed by MEDREPPRO LLC, is a compact and lightweight laboratory instrument designed for the physical separation of components within a sample based on their different densities. This is achieved by setting specific centrifugal speed and time parameters. For instance, it can separate blood into three layers—PPP, PRP, and Red cells—typically at 3500 rpm for 8 minutes. After centrifugation, users can extract the desired materials from the tubes.
To ensure safe operation and prevent potential accidents, users must adhere to the following safety protocols:
The TD4C centrifuge supports various rotor configurations, including 8 x 15 ml, 6 x 10/15 ml, 12 x 5 ml, 12 x 7 ml, and 8 x 10/7/5 ml. Users can select the appropriate rotor based on their specific centrifugal working theory and specialties. The centrifuge is driven by a brushless direct current motor, offering several advantages:
Upon receiving the centrifuge, users should immediately inspect the package for any serious damage. If damage is found, contact the supplier directly. Otherwise, proceed to unpack the centrifuge, retrieve the instruction manual, and verify all components and accessories against the packing list. Report any missing items promptly.
The centrifuge must be installed on a flat, stable surface, such as a table or desk. Ensure all four feet are firmly touching the surface. Connect the power supply to the unit and plug it into a grounded socket to prevent electric shock. (Note: Most European electric sockets are grounded.)
Push the switch down to turn off the display panel. The machine will still be on. If the machine will not be used for a long time, unplug it from the wall socket.
If the centrifuge does not operate, first check that the machine is turned on (the top part of the switch is pushed in). Verify the power connection and inspect the fuses within the machine, replacing them if necessary. If the centrifuge still fails to work, contact the supplier. Any unauthorized repair attempts inside the machine will void the warranty.
