MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
This respirator must be kept in good condition to function properly. When any piece shows evidences
of excessive wear or damage, it must be replaced immediately by the proper part. Replacement parts
shall be available in the maintenance sector.
This respirator, when not in use, should be kept in a clean, dry location; do not distort facepiece
during storage. Filters must be kept in their bags and kept in a clean, dry location.
RELATIONS OF CHEMICAL, MECHANICAL AND COMBINED FILTERS
Advantage 200 Respirator is used with the following filters:
Class 1 Chemical Filters with bayonet-type fitting:
GMA – organic vapors
GMB – acid gases
GMC – organic vapors and acid gases
GMD – ammonia and methylamine
GME – organic vapors, acid gases and ammonia
MERSORB – mercury vapors and chlorine
CLASS 1 Chemical Filters with thread-type fitting:
GMA – organic vapors
GMB – acid gases
GMC – organic vapors and acid gases
GMD – ammonia and methylamine
GME – organic vapors, acid gases and ammonia
MERSORB – mercury vapors and chlorine
Mechanical Filters with bayonet-type fitting:
LOW-PROFILE P3 – dust, mist, smokes and radionuclides – P3.
FLEXI-FILTER P3 – dust, mist, smokes and radionuclides – P3.
FLEXI-FILTER N95 P2 – dust, mist and smokes – P2.
FLEXI-FILTER P95 P2 – dust, mist and smokes – P2.
FLEXI-FILTER P3 FBC-1 VO/OZ – dust, mist, smokes and radionuclides – P3 – with active carbon
layer.
FLEXI-FILTER P3 FBC-1 GA/HF – dust, mist, smokes and radionuclides – P3 – with active carbon
