Important
Type the password, up to eght characters n length, and press <Enter>. The password
typed now wll replace any prevously set password. You wll be prompted to con󰘰rm the
password. Retype the password and press <Enter>. You may also press <Esc> to abort
the selecton and not enter a password.
To clear a set password, just press <Enter> when you are prompted to enter the pass-
word. A message wll show up con󰘰rmng the password wll be dsabled. Once the
password s dsabled, the system wll boot and you can enter Setup wthout enterng
any password.
When a password has been set, you wll be prompted to enter t every tme you try to
enter Setup/ System. Ths prevents an unauthorzed person from changng any part of
your system con󰘰guraton.
About Supervsor Password & User Password:
Supervsor password: Can enter and change the settngs of the setup menu.
User password: Can only enter but do not have the rght to change the settngs of the
setup menu.
User Access Level
Ths tem s used to lmt the user access level.

Ths spec󰘰es the type of BIOS password protecton that s mplemented. Settngs are
descrbed below:
Opton Descrpton
[BIOS] The password prompt appears only when end users try to run Setup.
[System] A password prompt appears every tme when the computer s powered
on or when end users try to run Setup.

Ths tem s used to assgn a place to save the supervsor password.
