  If your MTD Gold Snow Blower isn't discharging snow, several factors could be at play. First, the chute assembly might be clogged; to resolve this, stop the engine, disconnect the spark plug wire, and then clean the chute and the inside of the auger housing using a clean-out tool or a stick. Second, a foreign object might be lodged in the auger; in this case, stop the engine immediately, disconnect the spark plug wire, and remove the object. Third, the auger control cable may be out of adjustment; adjust the auger control cable. Lastly, the auger belt could be loose or damaged, requiring replacement.
