LCD
Locatedinthe centerof the tractor'sconsole,the
systemsindicatormonitorrecords,anddisplays on its
LCD,hoursoftractoroperationwheneverthe ignition
keyis rotatedout of the STOPposition.
TheIndicatorMonitorwillalsoremindtheoperatorof
maintenanceintervalsforchangingthe engineoil. The
LCDwillalternatelyflashtherecordedhours,"CHG"and
"OIL"for fiveminutes,afterevery50 hoursof recorded
operationelapse.The maintenanceintervallastsfor
twohours(from50-52,100-102,150-152,etc.).The
LCDwillalsoflashas describedabovefor fiveminutes
everytimethe tractor'senginehasbeenstartedduring
thismaintenanceinterval.Beforetheintervalexpires,
changethe crankcaseoil levelasinstructedin this
Operator'sManual.
Brake
If theBrakelightilluminateswhenattemptingtostart the
tractor'sengine,depressthebrakepedal.
PTO (Blade Engage)
If thePTOlightilluminateswhenattemptingtostart the
tractor'sengine,movePTOKnobintothe disengaged
(OFF)position.
Oil
It isnormalfortheOil lightto illuminatewhilethe engine
iscrankingduringstart-up,butif it illuminate'sduring
operation,while the engine isrunning,stopthe
tractorimmediatelyandcheckthe crankcaseoillevelas
instructedin thisOwner'sManual.
Battery
It isnormalforthe Batterylightto illuminatewhile the
engineiscrankingduringstart-up,butifit illuminate's
duringoperation,while the engine isrunning, the
batteryisin needofa chargeorthe engine'scharging
systemisnotgeneratingsufficientamperage.Referto
theMAINTENANCEsectionof this manualfor the proper
batterychargingprocedureor havethechargingsystem
checkedbyyourservicedealer.
Ammeter (If so Equipped)
Onmodelswithouta SystemsIndicatorMonitor,an
ammeterwillexist.Theammetermeasurestheelectrical
outputoftheengine'schargingsystem.Undernormal
operatingconditions,withengineatfullthrottle,the
ammetershouldindicatepositivecharge.
