AC Input and Internal Protection
A branch circuit disconnect must be provided in front of the amplifier. For the 460 volt
models, either single phase or three phase power can be applied.
Model Single Phase Three Phase
MPA-05-460 6 amps 4 amps
MPA-09-460 11 amps 7 amps
MPA-15-460 18 amps 11 amps
MPA-25-460 30 amps 20 amps
MPA-35-460 42 amps 26 amps
MPA-50-460 50 amps 40 amps
MPA-75-460 60 amps
MPA-100-460 80 amps
NOTE
Use the table above as a guideline when
selecting the size of disconnecting
devices. The current rating of the device
must to be equal to or higher than (closest
match) the values in the table. Make sure
that the device has the appropriate
voltage rating. Use only slow blow fuses
or thermal type breakers.
AC power wiring must be consistent with any local codes, national electric codes, and be
able to withstand the voltage/current ratings applied.
A (ground) terminal is supplied and should be connected to earth ground.
Internal Protection
These amplifiers have internal AC Input fuses and a shunt fuse internal to the rear cover.
All of these fuses are intended to avoid catastrophic failures. In the event that any of
these fuses becomes defective, the amplifier must be repaired by a factory technician.
