You may need to remove the Mulmac if your car is going in for an MOT/you want to take adults
in the back/put the seats down to move furniture etc.
(Moving the Mulmac into a second car is possible as long as you have tether straps ed
in an addional car – if not, a new ng kit can be ordered from www.mulmac.com
Please note: ng kits are car specic so you will need to conrm the car make and model
when ordering).
To remove the unit from the car, you have to slacken o the tether straps and remove the legs,
then the seat should slide out through the doors. Bear in mind this is a 2 person job as the
Mulmac is large and heavy.
The tether straps are fastened into two
ratchet adjusters which are situated under
the seat cushions.
Squeeze the clutch up towards the handle,
and push the handle all the way back towards
the back of the Mulmac unl you hear a click.
Tug the tether strap and it will unwind from
the spindle. This will loosen o the whole unit
and then pull the legs out.
Please note: you may need to push the driver
and passenger seat forwards so you have
enough space for this.
Rest the legs on the Mulmac and slide the
unit out the car, carefully.
Please note: In the Superclub the ratchets are
both under the middle seat cushion
4 seaters – under each middle seat.
3 seater – under each outer seat.
