  If there is no voltage output from your generator, it could be due to several reasons. The AC voltmeter might be defective, so check the output voltage using a voltmeter. A loose wiring connection could also be the cause, so check the wiring and repair it. The AVR might be defective, so replace it if necessary. A defective rotating rectifier could also be the cause, so check and replace it. Finally, a defective exciter field could be the reason; check for approximately 19 ohms across J & K on CN1.
