      If your MYERS Water Pump isn't working, start by ensuring your home has power and the pump's cord is securely plugged into the outlet or wired into the controller/switch box. Next, check that the fluid level is high enough to activate the switch or controller. Also, make sure the 3/16" vent hole in the discharge pipe isn't blocked. Debris in the pump inlet, impeller, check valve, or discharge pipe can also cause this issue, so inspect and clean them if necessary. Finally, the thermal overload might have tripped. If it starts and stops quickly, disconnect it from power for 30 minutes to cool, then reconnect. Investigate the cause of overheating.

      If your MYERS Water Pump isn't emptying the sump, ensure all valves in the discharge pipe are fully open. A clogged discharge pipe or check valve can also be the culprit, so clean them out. Additionally, check the pump inlet and impeller for any blockages and remove them if needed. If the problem persists, you might need a higher capacity pump.
