Reservoir is sterile provided that the packaging has
neither been opened nor damaged. If the packaging shows signs of damage,
then use a different reservoir.
Intended use
The mylife
™
YpsoPump
®
Reservoir is intended to be lled with a rapid-acting
insulin at a concentration of 100 U/ml and used with the mylife
™
YpsoPump
®
insulin pump.
Warnings
Prevent risk of incorrect medication:
Ensure the use of the correct drug liquid and check the label of the
vial before lling the reservoir.
Remove air bubbles from the reservoir prior to its insertion into the
mylife
™
YpsoPump
®
.
Prevent risk of infection:
Never pull the stopper beyond the 1.6-ml mark.
Do not re-use the transfer adapter or the reservoir.
Safety measures
Check the reservoir for cracks and damages and do not use the reservoir after
the expiration date on the packaging. Follow the user manuals for mylife
™
YpsoPump
®
and mylife
™
YpsoPump
®

infusion sets and the explanations
of the symbols on the packaging. The reservoir is solely intended for single use.
You will need the following:
a) Insulin vial
b) Alcohol swabs
c) Reservoir with plunger rod
d) Transfer adapter
1 Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
2 Clean the septum of the insulin vial with an alcohol swab.
3 Remove the reservoir and the transfer adapter from the packaging
(c and d) without touching the septum.
4 Attach the transfer adapter to the reservoir and advance the stopper all
the way forward.
5 Then pull the plunger rod backwards until the entire reservoir is lled
with air.
6 Attach the other end of the transfer adapter to the insulin vial.
7 Inject all of the air into the insulin vial. This will make it easier to then
withdraw insulin from the vial.
8 Turn the reservoir, including the insulin vial, upside down. Very gently
draw the insulin into the reservoir.
9 Check the reservoir for air bubbles. If air bubbles are in the reservoir,
carefully tap the side of the reservoir. Then press the plunger rod to
push the air bubbles out of the reservoir. Repeat if necessary.
10 Remove the transfer adapter from the vial. Dispose of the transfer
adapter in accordance with local laws.
11 Twist off the plunger rod and dispose of it.
12 Follow the instructions in the user guide for the mylife

in order to insert the reservoir into the mylife
™
YpsoPump
®
.
Storage
You can ll the reservoir with a rapid acting insulin analogue as described
by your doctor/physician and store it in the fridge (2 – 8 °C) for up to
30 days. The lled reservoir can be used in the mylife
™
YpsoPump
®
for up
to 7 days.

storage conditions may differ.
