Preparation and Operation

Before You Begin

Rinse all components in clean hot water. Remove all soaps. Do not use dishwasher.

Best Results Tips

Use fresh roasted, specialty coffee and filtered water. Grind fresh. Ensure proper dose and tamp.

Inserting the Gas Charger

Unscrew end cap, place charger large end into cap, screw back until flush. Match metal bands.

Quick Start Guide

Step 1: Prepare Basket

Fill basket with 18-21g ground coffee, level and tamp firmly. Place basket in holder.

Step 2: Assemble Water Bowl

Place empty water bowl on top, locking it into place. Ensure it is secure.

Step 3: Add Hot Water

Carefully fill water bowl with hot water (197-204°F). Place and lock water bowl cap.

Step 4: Pull the Shot

Position spouts over cup(s) and press trigger until desired volume is achieved.

Using the TWIST

Choose a Showerhead

Select ground coffee showerhead (A) or pod showerhead (B). Press firmly into water bowl slots.

Choose a Basket

Remove water bowl. Select standard, coarse, or pod basket for intended use.

Loading and Pod Usage

Load the Basket

Place basket on surface, dose/tamp coffee (18-21g), brush rim, place in holder, lock water bowl.

Using a Pod

Replace showerhead with POD type. Insert POD basket. Place water bowl and lock securely.

Extraction and Cleaning

Fill with Hot Water

Fill water bowl to bottom or upper line depending on shot type. Secure lid firmly.

Pull a Shot

Hold spouts over cup(s), press trigger for 20-30 seconds. Wait 20 seconds before removing bowl.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

Cleaning Up

Dump water, remove bowl and basket, empty grounds, rinse components. Protect o-ring.

Showerhead Cleaning

Clean showerhead rubber disc if waterbowl leaks. Pry off o-ring, separate parts, clean, reassemble.
