l Exposure: +2.0/+5/3,+4/3,+1.0,+2/3, +1/3 ,+0.0, -1/3 ,-2/3,-1.0,-4/3,-5/3,-2.0
Here you can manually correct the exposure (incoming light) when your videos are
either too light or too dark.
l Motion detection: Off/On
When turned to On, the camera will be in Stand-by mode and will start a short 30
seconds recording when a movement or vibration is detected around the car. This
function is ideally used when your car is parked in a quiet spot for extended periods of
time. Note that you require a special hardwire kit to proved the dashcam with power
when the car is turned off. During normal driving it’s better to turn off the Motion
detection function as numerous smaller recordings of 30 seconds can result in
malfunctioning of the Loop recording over time.
This function is different from the ‘Park mode’ function (see System settings) where the
camera is turned off and will start when a vibration (not a movement) is detected. That
function is powered by the internal battery.
l Record audio: Off/On
Turn the microphone on or off.
l Date Stamp: Off/On
When turned to on, the date and time will be shown in the lower corner in every video.
l G-sensor: Off/2G/4G/8G
Here you can set the sensitivity of the G-sensor. When the G-sensor is triggered too
easily (e.g. when you cross a speed bump) you can lower the sensitivity.
l High dynamic range: Off/On
When turned to On, the camera will automatically change the White balance of the
videos depending on the circumstances.
System settings
Press the Menu button twice when in Video mode to enter the System settings. Press the
Menu button again to exit the System settings.
l Parking mode: Off/On
When turned to On, the camera will automatically turn On and start a short 30 seconds
Emergency recording once a vibration has occurred. Note that this requires the battery
of the dashcam to be sufficiently charged.
l Date/Time: To set date and time
l Auto power off: Off/1Minute/3Minutes
Determines after what time the camera should turn off during inactivity (i.e. when not
recording).
l Screen saver: Off/3 Minutes/5Minutes/10 Minutes
Determines after what time the screen should turn off during recording in order to not
distract the driver. The dashcam will continue recording when the screensaver is
activated and the screen can be turned on by pressing the OK button once.
