Why is the NanoEnTek Laboratory Equipment cell count inaccurate?
    • L
      Lori PowellAug 3, 2025
An inaccurate cell count with your NanoEnTek Laboratory Equipment can occur for several reasons. Ensure you're not inserting the EVE™ Cell counting slide upside-down, as this can introduce damaging liquid. Avoid reusing EVE™ Cell counting slides, as leftover dye can affect readings. Do not use counting slides other than EVE™ Cell counting slides. Also, make sure the sample covers the entire counting area and the EVE™ Cell counting slide is fully inserted. If the sample is outside the recommended range, dilute or add more cells. When viewing cells in zoom mode, adjust the focus knob to ensure live cells have bright centers and dead cells have dark/blue centers. Ensure the cells are not clumped. It is also recommended to calibrate the counter each year to maintain instrument sensitivity.

What to do if NanoEnTek Laboratory Equipment has saving and printing problems?

      Autumn ThomasAug 12, 2025
If you're experiencing saving and printing issues with your NanoEnTek Laboratory Equipment, use the USB drive supplied with the counter or a USB 2.0 drive, as other types may not be detected. Avoid saving too many files on the USB drive, as this can slow down the counter. Do not remove the USB drive or turn off the counter during updates. Also, do not remove the USB drive when saving or reading data, as it may damage the counter.

If your NanoEnTek Laboratory Equipment is not updating software, the issue may stem from a corrupted software file or a damaged USB drive. Try downloading a fresh version of the software onto a different USB drive and then attempt the update again.
