Why is the NanoEnTek Laboratory Equipment cell count inaccurate?
- LLori PowellAug 3, 2025
An inaccurate cell count with your NanoEnTek Laboratory Equipment can occur for several reasons. Ensure you're not inserting the EVE™ Cell counting slide upside-down, as this can introduce damaging liquid. Avoid reusing EVE™ Cell counting slides, as leftover dye can affect readings. Do not use counting slides other than EVE™ Cell counting slides. Also, make sure the sample covers the entire counting area and the EVE™ Cell counting slide is fully inserted. If the sample is outside the recommended range, dilute or add more cells. When viewing cells in zoom mode, adjust the focus knob to ensure live cells have bright centers and dead cells have dark/blue centers. Ensure the cells are not clumped. It is also recommended to calibrate the counter each year to maintain instrument sensitivity.
