Function Description

The Nanolux Digital Electronic Ballast is a revolutionary, small, light, and stable ballast designed to power HPS and MH lamps in indoor garden settings. It is part of the OG Series, which features the "Authentic Original Nano design." The ballast is equipped with dimming functions, allowing users to operate it at various power levels: 110% (Super-lux), 100%, 75%, and 50%. It also incorporates a "Random Start" system, which introduces a 0-15 second delay before striking the bulb when multiple ballasts are used, reducing initial power draw for larger installations. The ballast is NCCS (Nanolux Cloud Control System) App Compatible, allowing for advanced control.

• Dimming Selection: Users can select power output at 110% (Super-lux), 100%, 75%, or 50% to suit different growth stages or lamp requirements.
• Random Start: For installations with multiple ballasts, this feature staggers bulb ignition by 0-15 seconds, preventing a sudden surge in power demand.
• NCCS App Compatibility: The ballast can be integrated with the Nanolux Cloud Control System via a USB port. When an NCCS RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) is connected, the physical dimming dial on the ballast is overridden, allowing for remote control. If the RTU is removed or loses communication, the ballast will automatically turn off after 10 minutes and requires a power cycle to reset.
• Fan Safety-Check System: If equipped with a fan, the system will stop working if there is a failure or obstruction, preventing damage.
• Voltage Protection: The ballast includes protection against under and over voltage. For North America & Japan, it protects against under 90Vac and over 290Vac. For Europe & Australia, it protects against under 155Vac and over 290Vac.
• Restart Attempts: If a voltage anomaly occurs, the ballast will attempt to restart after 50 seconds and will automatically shut down after 20 failed strike attempts for safety.
• Thermal Protection: The ballast will automatically restart once its internal temperature drops below 55°C (131°F).
• Circuit Protection: Features short or open circuit protection.
• Market-Specific Output Leads: The ballast comes with different output lead configurations depending on the market (North American & Japanese, European & Japanese, Australian).

For warranty service, the ballast must be returned with the original sales receipt and packaging.

Safety Warnings and Installation Guidelines
