Summary

Assembly Instructions

Install Thwart Tube

Secure the thwart tube to the clamp using the 4mm hex wrench.

Install Crankarms

Attach the left and right crankarms to the main drive unit.

Install Propel in Kayak

Mount the completed propel assembly into the kayak's drive box.

Lock Propel in Kayak

Secure the propel unit in the drive box using the slider latch.

Maintenance and Service

Cleaning the Propel Drive

Rinse the propel drive with a water hose after each use, especially in saltwater.

Check Propel Covers

Inspect and tighten the drive unit covers to ensure they are flush with the frame.

Lubricate Upper Gear Set

Apply grease to the upper gears through the grease port using a grease gun.

Lubricate Lower Gear Set

Grease the propeller gear and the lower transmission gear on the cartridge.

Shear Pin Replacement

Replace the propeller's shear pin to prevent drive shaft damage.
