What to do if my Naxa NTD-1956 TV has no picture or distorted picture?
    • M
      Michael JohnsonAug 18, 2025
If there's no picture, the picture is distorted, or the buttons aren't working, the remote control might need new batteries. Install two new “AAA” batteries. Also, ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the sensor on the front of the unit. A scratched, dirty, or warped disc may be unplayable. Try cleaning the disc. Static electricity could also be interfering; in that case, switch off and unplug the unit, then reconnect and switch it on again.

Why my Naxa TV can't play a disc?
    • K
      Karen NielsenAug 20, 2025
If your TV can't play a disc, first check that the disc is placed correctly in the disc tray with the label side facing up. The disc might be incompatible; check the “About Optical Discs” section of the manual to ensure it meets the compatibility requirements. Also, the disc could be dirty or damaged. Try cleaning it, but if it's too scratched or damaged, it may be unplayable.
