Flexible Arm Installation
This LCD monitor is designed for use with a fl exible arm.
To prepare the monitor for alternate mounting purposes:
Follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer of the monitor mount.
To meet the safety requirements, the monitor must be mounted to an arm that supports the weight of the monitor.
See page 21 for details. Remove the monitor stand before mounting.

Remove the Monitor Stand for Mounting
To prepare the monitor for alternate mounting purposes:
1. Disconnect all cables.
2. Place hands on each side of the monitor and lift up to the highest position.
3. Make sure to rotate the screen 90° counter clockwise to the landscape position (Figure S.1).
4. Place the monitor face down on a non-abrasive surface. Be sure to not apply any stress or pressure to the front sensor.
To avoid this, lay the monitor face down on a desk or table with the front sensor situated off the edge (Figure S.2).
5. Slide the cable cover up.
NOTE: The cable cover is not removable.
6. Place hand on the back side of the monitor and lift up the stand.
7. Remove the 4 screws connecting the monitor to the stand. Remove 2 bottom screws fi rst (Figure S.2).
8. Lower the stand and slide the cable cover down.
9. Remove 2 top screws (Figure S.3).
Reverse process to re-attach the stand.
NOTE: Handle with care when removing the monitor stand.

Mount the Flexible arm
1. Use the 4 screws that were removed from the stand removal to attach the fl exible arm to the monitor
(Figure F.1).
Caution: The monitor should only be used with an approved arm (e.g. TUEV GS mark).
When mounting, use the screws (4 pcs) that were removed from the stand.
Alternatively, use M4 size screws with a maximum length equal to thickness
of bracket and washer + 10mm, to avoid damage to the monitor.
The recommended torque is 0.98 - 1.37N•m.
To avoid blocking the air circulation, keep adequate space above and
behind the monitor.
