MANUAL INTERCOM 
To Initiate 
1.
  Press the MICM key, lift the handset or press the 
Speaker key, a ringback tone is heard. 
 
2.
  Press the Signal key if it is desired for the called 
station to hear ringing. 
 
 
To Answer 
1.
  The  MICM  key  flashes,  indicating  an  incoming 
call. A ring tone may also be heard. 
 
2.
  Press the MICM key. 
 
3.
  Lift the handset or press the Speaker key, LED 
lights solid green. 
 
When the called station is engaged with a non-intercom call, 
the called station user presses the AICM key to answer the 
incoming call after placing the non-intercom caller on hold 
(with the Hold key). 
 
 
To Bridge into a Manual Intercom Call 
Bridging is an optional feature. 
 
1.
  Press the MICM key, lift the handset or press the 
Speaker key. 
 
2.
  A three-party conference is established. 
 
■The Signal soft key signals the corresponding station when 
speaking over the intercom path is unnecessary. 
■Two-button  Manual  Intercom  provides  one  button  for 
signaling and one for talking. A separate signaling button 
can be used in many ways for the secretary to alert a boss, 
or vice versa.   
 
DIAL INTERCOM 
To Initiate 
1.
  Lift the handset or press the Speaker key. 
 
2.
  Press the DICM key. 
 
3.
  Dial  the  desired  intercom  station  number. 
Receive a ringback tone. 
 
 
To Answer 
1.
  The  DICM  key  flashes,  indicating  an  incoming 
intercom call. 
 
2.
  Press the DICM key. 
 
3.
  Lift the handset or press the Speaker key. 
The LED lights solid green. 
 
When the called station is engaged with a non-intercom 
call, the called station user presses the DICM key to answer 
the  incoming  call  after  placing  the  non-intercom  caller  on 
hold (with the Hold key).   
 
 
To Bridge into a Dial Intercom Call 
 
Bridging is an optional feature. 
 
1.
  Press the DICM key, lift the handset or press the 
Speaker key. 
 
2.
  A three-party conference is established. 
 
Dial intercom  provides  a Dial  Intercom  group where  each 
member of the group may be called by a 1-digit or  2-digit 
number without using their prime lines.
