Overview

The NeoDen IN12 is a newly designed and manufactured reflow oven with 12 temperature zones, a unique heating module, an intelligent control system, and a built-in soldering smoke filtering system. It is described as intelligent, innovative, compact, and high-performance.

Function Description

The IN12's primary function is reflow soldering, a process used to solder surface-mount components to printed circuit boards (PCBs). It achieves this through hot air convection, ensuring excellent soldering performance. The device features a built-in soldering smoke filtering system that effectively filters harmful gases, contributing to an eco-friendly and high-end use environment. The intelligent control system is designed for ease of use and powerful operation, allowing for precise temperature control and uniform temperature distribution. It also includes a professional and unique 4-way board surface temperature monitoring system, providing timely and comprehensive data feedback for complex electronic products. The system can store up to 40 working files for easy loading during operation and displays PCB soldering temperature curves based on real-time measurements.

Usage Features

  • Energy Saving: Low power consumption, designed to meet ordinary civil electricity requirements. It is claimed that the electricity cost savings can enable the purchase of a second IN12 within one year compared to similar products.
  • Heating Module Design: Unique design with high temperature control accuracy, uniform temperature distribution in the thermal compensation area, high thermal compensation efficiency, and low power consumption. It uses high-performance aluminum alloy heating plates instead of heating pipes, which are both energy-saving and high-efficient, significantly reducing transverse temperature deviation.

  • Heat Insulation: Protection design effectively controls casing temperature.

  • Fan Management: Adjustable wind speed for hot air in each temperature zone (HOT1-HOT6) and the cooling zone (COOL).
  • Temperature Curve Generation: Connects a temperature sensor to the PCB to generate real-time temperature curves, which can be started, stopped, and cleared.
  • Double-Sided Board Soldering: Supports hot air reflow soldering for double-sided components, with specific instructions for handling A and B sides to prevent components from falling out.
  • Installation: Requires 220V single-phase power supply. Electrical wire should be no less than 2.5mm², preferably 4mm². Machine should be set in a standard SMT workshop, away from flammable and explosive materials. Exposed wire harnesses must be protected.

Maintenance Features

  • Filter Element Replacement: The filter assembly needs to be replaced regularly, with a service life of 8 months (depending on service frequency). Instructions are provided for replacing both left and right filter assemblies, involving removal of screws, wind shields, and covers.
  • Lubrication: Regularly add high-temperature lubricating oil to transfer chain bearings.
  • General Precautions:
    • Maintain a distance of more than 100mm when PCB size exceeds 100mm.
    • Avoid opening the incubator unnecessarily. If opened, it must be supported by a rod.
    • The upper cover and incubator can only be opened after the bottom caster is laid down.
    • Do not touch the power board and control board when the power is on.
    • Retest the plate surface temperature curve and adjust settings after changing chain speed, as it affects temperature.
