Function Description:

The primary function of the SS-7000 is to eliminate powerful odors using ozone generation and UV light. It is intended for commercial use in areas up to 3500 square feet per treatment. The unit operates with a timer, allowing for a maximum run duration of 2 hours, after which it automatically shuts off. A 40-minute waiting period is recommended before re-entering the treated area to allow for proper ventilation.

Usage Features:

• Hi/Low Mode: Users can select between 12,000 mg/hr (High) or 6,000 mg/hr (Low) ozone output, depending on the size or type of the job.
• Timer Control Knob: Allows setting the operation time up to two hours. The unit will automatically shut off once the timer expires.

• Ozone Plate Replacement: The ozone plates should be replaced when the unit no longer produces enough ozone, typically after approximately 5000 hours of operation.
  • Replacement Steps:
    1. Turn off the unit and unplug it from the outlet.
    2. Use a screwdriver to unfasten the cover screw and remove the cover.
    3. Pull the ceramic plate out of the ozone generator module.
    4. Install the new ceramic plate carefully, as shown in the manual's diagram.
• Fuse Replacement: If the unit is not powering on, check the fuse.
  • Replacement Steps:
    1. Ensure the unit is unplugged.
    2. Pull out the plastic fuse holder.
    3. Remove the old fuse and insert a new 1 amp (0.79 inch) replacement fuse.
• Cleaning: Failure to properly clean (every 6 months), inspect, maintain, and/or replace defective ozone plates may result in a fire hazard.

Safety Warnings:

• Unoccupied Spaces Only: The device should only be used in unoccupied spaces due to the potential for excessive ozone concentrations to cause mucous membrane or respiratory irritation.
• Not a Medical Device: This air unit is not a medical device. Do not stop or alter any medical therapy programs or medications without the advice of a physician.
• Electrical Shock Risk: Do not remove the cover. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel. The "bolt of lightning" symbol indicates un-insulated material that may cause electrical shock.
• Power Connection: Never plug the unit into a power strip; always plug it into a wall outlet.
• Overheating Risk: Failure to clean and maintain ozone parts, or using the 'HOLD' setting longer than 2 hours per treatment, may result in overheating and could lead to a fire hazard.
• Grounding: Ensure the Commercial Air Purifier is properly grounded to avoid potential shock.
