INTRODUCTION
Fuel
ForEuropeonly:useonlyUltra-LowSulphurDiesel(S10)thatmeetsEN590specications.
ForNorthAmericaonly:useonlyNo.2-DUltra-LowSulphurDiesel(S15)thatmeetsASTMD975specications.
Usingothertypesoffuelmayleadtostalledengineoutputordeteriorationinfueleconomy.
NOTICE:thewarrantyshallbeinvalidifanyseriousdefectiscausedbyusageofanyotherfuel.Usingfuelotherthan
recommendedmaycausedamagetothefuelinjectionpump,injector,andotherfuelsupplysystemortheengine.
NEWHOLLANDCONSTRUCTIONmaynotberesponsibletoanyofsuchdamages.
Ifthetemperaturedropsbelowthefuelcloudpoint,outputdeciencyorenginestartproblemsmayoccurduetowax
crystals.
ForNorthAmericaonly:duringcoldweather,lowerthan-7°C(19.4°F),itistemporarilyacceptabletouseamixture
ofNo.1-D(S15)andNo.2-D(S15).

Thedieselfueltobeusedonthemachineshall:
befreefromdustparticles,evenminuteones.

haveverylittleresidualcarbon.
NOTICE:neveruseamixofdieselfuelandoldengineoil.Thefuelinjectionsystemandtheexhaustaftertreatment
systemwillbeseverelydamaged.
NOTICE:consultthefuelsupplierortheNEWHOLLANDCONSTRUCTIONdealerregardingappropriateuseoffuel
additives.
NOTICE:inordertopreventcondensationduringcoldweather,llthefueltanktofullaftercompletingtheday'swork.
Fuelstorage:
Longstoragecanleadtotheaccumulationofimpuritiesandcondensationinthefuel.Enginetroublecanoftenbe
tracedtothepresenceofwaterinthefuel.Thestoragetankmustbeplacedoutsideandthetemperatureofthefuel
shouldbekeptaslowaspossible.Drainoffwaterandimpuritiesregularly.
