Usage Features:

The CHEF POT V110 is designed for ease of use. To start cooking, users simply open the lid by rotating it clockwise, introduce ingredients into the non-stick XL inner bowl, place the bowl inside the pot, and then close the lid by rotating it counter-clockwise. The inner bowl has markings to indicate maximum liquid levels, especially important for pressure cooking.

The control panel includes dedicated buttons for various functions:

  • Pressure [LOW PRESSURE] and [HIGH PRESSURE]: These buttons allow users to select the desired pressure mode after choosing a cooking menu. High pressure (90 Kpa) is typically used for quick cooking like soups, while low pressure (35 Kpa) is for stews or dried dishes. For cooking with the lid open, no pressure is used.
  • Selector - / Warm / Cancel [-/WARM/CANCEL]: This button has multiple functions: decreasing cooking or programming time, manually activating the warm mode, and canceling cooking at any time.
  • Selector + / Program [+ / TIME / RSV]: This button is used to increase cooking or programming time and to initiate the food programming function (RSV).

The pot features a 24-hour programming system, allowing users to set a desired mealtime, and the pot will automatically calculate when to start cooking to have the food ready at the exact time. An important note for programming is that the waiting time must be greater than 2 hours; otherwise, the pot will start cooking immediately. The "Warm" function automatically activates after cooking, keeping food warm indefinitely without overcooking until manually canceled.

Safety Features:

The Newlux CHEF POT V110 incorporates multiple interlocking safety systems to prevent malfunctions. Key safety features include:

  • Hermetic seal: Prevents opening when there is pressure inside.
  • Safety valve system: Prevents the pot from opening when internal pressure is present. Users must release all steam by positioning the exhaust valve to "Open" before attempting to open the lid.
  • Micro-pressure valve: Regulates internal pressure.
  • Internal temperature sensors (upper and lower): Ensure constant temperature readings.
  • Internal fuse: Stops operation in case of overheating or power spikes.
  • Anti-blockage system: Prevents the valve from becoming blocked.
  • Automatic steam exhaust: Releases excess steam to prevent overpressure.
  • Pressure sensor: Monitors internal pressure levels.
  • Overheat control: Prevents the pot from reaching dangerously high temperatures.

Maintenance Features:

Cleaning and maintenance are straightforward due to the pot's high-quality non-stick surfaces. The inner bowl is dishwasher safe, and abrasive pads are generally not needed. All components that come into direct contact with food, such as the inner lid, lid, silicone ring, and exhaust valve, should be cleaned with soap and water after each use to prevent odors and flavors from transferring to subsequent meals. The silicone ring can be easily removed by pulling its small holder on the inner lid. It is crucial to keep the safety filter and exhaust valve clean to ensure proper steam release and safe lid operation.
