Why is power suddenly cut off while operating my Nexus Water Filtration System?
    • M
      Marissa LawrenceAug 16, 2025
The unit has a safety mechanism that automatically shuts it down to protect the electrodes and circuitry from overuse or excessive electric current. This can be triggered by elevated salt levels or high TDS in the water, extended operation at high pH, or a sudden electrical current flux. The unit will become operational again after about one hour.

What to do if my Nexus Water Filtration System shows alkaline water color as neutral?
    • M
      Miss Yvonne WallaceAug 19, 2025
This can happen if the reagent is faulty or evaporated. Alkaline and acidity are always produced in inverse proportion, so showing an acidic color means alkaline water should be generated. A lack of alkaline color can result from a chemical reaction where carbonic acid in water evaporates some test reagent elements. Try testing the pH value on level 3 or 4 water, or replace the reagent.

How to fix low output of alkaline water from my Nexus Water Filtration System?
    • D
      Dakota BarreraAug 22, 2025
Several factors could cause low alkaline water output: * A clogged filter. If the filter is clogged, especially due to a sudden drop in water quality or sediment influx, replace your filter and clean the pre-filter. * Low household plumbing pressure. Ensure your water supply valves are fully open, as low water pressure can restrict output. * A bent or kinked input hose. Check the input hose and straighten it if it's bent or restricted.

What to do if there is a strange smell from alkaline water from my Nexus Water Filtration System?
    • J
      Joshua WolfAug 26, 2025
A strange smell from alkaline water can be due to an expired filter or premature clogging because of a flux in water quality. Replace your filter. It can also be caused by elevated levels of Choline reacting with ionized water. Try selecting a lower pH level (1-2); if the smell persists, filter replacement may be necessary.

What to do if my Nexus Water Filtration System water appears milkish?
    • S
      Sydney FlowersAug 28, 2025
If your water appears milky with white, snow-like particles, it's likely due to high calcium hardness in your water. The white substance is extracted calcium carbonate (CaCO3), which is harmless and even beneficial. You can reduce this effect by lowering the setting on your unit to 1-2. This typically occurs in hard water areas.

Why does my Nexus Water Filtration System have a smell from the alkaline water about one hour after?
    • D
      Debra GonzalesAug 31, 2025
The smell from alkaline water one hour after filling your bottle could be due to a contaminated water bottle or receptacle that needs cleaning, or an expired filter. Clean your bottle or receptacle. You can also try selecting a lower pH level (1~2). If that doesn't work, replace your filter.

How to fix water leakage from the filter cartridge housing of my Nexus Water Filtration System?
    • Y
      ycarrSep 3, 2025
Water leakage from the filter cartridge housing is usually caused by the filter not being installed correctly. Remove your filter and reinstall it properly, following the filter replacement instructions. Also, increase the quantity of source water inflow.

What to do if my Nexus Water Filtration System Function Display Panel does not come on?
    • J
      Jason WestSep 6, 2025
If the Function Display Panel isn't turning on, it could be due to a power issue. Make sure the power plug is properly inserted into a functioning outlet. Also, check the fuse; if it's blown or not inserted correctly, replace it with the spare 3A / 250V fuse included in your reagent kit.

What to do if there is no acid water flow from the acidic output port of my Nexus Water Filtration System?
    • N
      Norma HuertaSep 9, 2025
If there's no acid water flow, the acidic output hose might be bent, kinked, or restricted. Straighten the hose and increase the water flow from the supply.

What to do if the Function Display Panel of my Nexus Water Filtration System doesn't come on even after turning the tap on?
    • J
      Jessica GibsonSep 12, 2025
If the Function Display Panel and display indicators do not come on even after turning the tap on, the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) may be faulty. Immediately unplug the unit and contact your dealer to arrange service.
