What to do if the Nexus X-BLUE power supply is suddenly cut off?
    • T
      Thomas AguilarAug 16, 2025
If the power supply to your Nexus Water Dispenser is suddenly cut off, it might be due to elevated salt levels or high TDS in the water, extended operation at a high pH level, or sudden electrical current fluctuations. The unit automatically shuts down to protect the electrodes and circuitry. Wait for about one hour; the unit will become operational again. This is a built-in safety mechanism to prevent overuse or excessive electric current.

Why does my Nexus X-BLUE Water Dispenser alkaline water have a strange smell?
    • D
      Donald BellAug 19, 2025
If you notice a strange smell from the alkaline water produced by your Nexus Water Dispenser, it could be due to an expired filter or premature clogging caused by a change in water quality. It may also be caused by elevated levels of Choline in the water, especially during summer. Try selecting a lower pH level (1-2). If the smell persists, replace the filter.

Why does my Nexus X-BLUE water look milky?
    • J
      Joseph OsborneSep 3, 2025
If the water from your Nexus Water Dispenser appears milky with white, snow-like particles, it indicates high calcium hardness in your water. This is extracted calcium carbonate (CaCO3). Lower the setting (1-2) to reduce this effect. This typically occurs in hard water areas and is harmless.

Why does Nexus X-BLUE Water Dispenser pH test show incorrect colors?
    • R
      Robert ProctorSep 12, 2025
If the pH test of your Nexus Water Dispenser shows alkaline water color as neutral (7) while acidic water color gets yellow (6), and your initial pH is 6.5, this is normal. If not, test the pH value on level 3 or 4 water and replace the reagent. This can be caused by faulty or evaporated reagent where alkaline / acidity are always produced in inverse proportion. Lack of alkaline color can result from a chemical reaction where carbonic acid in water evaporates some test reagent elements.
