spillage and avoid creating any source of ignition until the petrol vapours have dissipated.
- replace all fuel tanks and container caps securely
 Before using, always visually inspect to see that the blades, blade bolts and cutter assembly are not
worn or damaged. Replace worn or damaged blades and bolts in sets to preserve balance.
 Never tamper with safety devices. Check their proper operation regularly.
 Keep machine free of grass, leaves, or other debris build-up.
 Clean spilt oil or spilt fuel.
 Allow machine to cool before storing.
 Exercise extreme caution when changing direction on slopes.
 Never attempt to make wheel height adjustments while the engine (motor) is running.
 Grass catcher components are subject to wear, damage, and deterioration, which could expose moving
parts or allow objects to be thrown. Frequently check components and replace with manufacturer’s
recommended parts, when necessary.
 Mower blades are sharp and can cut. Wrap the blade in cloth or wear gloves, and use extra caution
when servicing them.
 Do not change the engine governor setting or over speed the engine.
 Use extreme caution when reversing or pulling the lawnmower towards you.
 Stop the blade if the lawnmower has to be tilted for transportation when crossing surfaces other than
grass, and when transporting the lawnmower to and from the area to be mowed.
 Start the engine or switch on the motor carefully according to instructions and with feet well away
from the blade.
 Do not tilt the lawnmower when starting the engine or switching on the motor, except if the
lawnmower has to be tilted for starting. In this case, do not tilt it more than absolutely necessary and
lift only the part which is away from the operator.
 Do not start the engine when standing in front of the discharge chute.
 Never pick up or carry a lawnmower while the engine is running.
ASSEMBLY/PRE-OPERATION
Read these instructions and this manual in its entirety before you attempt to assemble to operate your new
lawnmower.
IMPORTANT:
The lawn mower is shipped WITHOUT OIL OR PETROL in the engine. Your new lawn mower has been
assembled and tested at the factory.
