3.1) Electrical connections
Before starting to make electrical connections, make
sure the technical specifications of the product
correspond to the way in which it will be used. In
particular, check input voltage and the characteristics of
the electrical charge connected to the output relays.
Make electrical connections as shown in the diagram in figure 6. The
electrical connection between the DECODER and the READER or
KEYPAD comprises just 2 wires; polarity is unimportant. For
distances less than 10 m, use a simple 2 x 0.5 mm
2
cable. For
distances up to 30 m, use a shielded cable and only earth the
Decoder end of the shield.
