POWER Switch
This switch turns on and off the power.
PHONES Jack
For connection of stereo headphones,
SPEAKERS Switch
This 6-position switch functions as follows:
OFF: AH speakers are disconnected to permit
private listening through headphones.
A: Operates the speakers connected to the
"A" SPEAKERS terminals.
B: Operates the speakers connected to the
"B" SPEAKERS terminals.
ion Operates the speakers connected to the
"Cc" SPEAKERS terminals.
A+B: Operates all speakers connected to the
"A" and ‘‘B'’ SPEAKERS terminals.
At+C: Operates all speakers connected to the
“AY” and "C'’ SPEAKERS terminals.
BASS Control
This dual knob contro! adjusts bass tones of left
and right channels. The two knobs are normally
turned together. However, they can be turned
individually by holding one knob and turning the
other. The tones are flat at the center positions
of the knobs.
TONE DEFEAT Switch
By placing this lever switch to “ON’ you can
obtain a flat characteristic of tone regardless of
positions of the BASS and TREBLE controls.
TREBLE Control
This dual knob control adjusts treble tones of left
and right channels. The two knobs can be
adjusted in the same manner as described in
“BASS Control’.
LOW FILTER Switch
Set this switch to ON to eliminate low frequency
noise such as turntable hum.
HIGH FILTER Switch
Set this switch to ON to eliminate high frequency
noise such as scratches from phono players.
VOLUME/BALANCE Control
The VOLUME knob (inner knob) adjusts the
volumes of both channels. The BALANCE knob
(outer knob) adjusts so that the volume levels
from both channels are about equal from one’s
listening position. The volumes are electrically
balanced at the center position of the knob.
LOUDNESS Switch
Use this switch only at “low’’ VOLUME settings.
At the ON position of the switch, low and high
pitched tones are automatically emphasized to
restore brilliance to program material. At the
normal and high VOLUME settings, this switch
should be set to the ‘’UP’ position.
FM MUTING Switch
Set this switch to ON to eliminate interstation
noise during FM reception. !f FM signal is weak,
set the switch to the “up’’ position.
MODE Switch
Set this switch to STEREO for stereo programs,
and set it to MONO for monaural programs.

. TAPE 1 MONITOR Switch
Set this switch to the ‘‘down’” position only
when tape is played from the tape deck connected
to the TAPE 1 jacks.

Dieser Schaiter dient zum Ein-
schalten des Gerates.
Kopfhorerbuchse
Diese Buchse dient zum AnschluR eines
Stereok opfhorers.
Lautsprecherschalter (LAUTSPRECHER)
Dieser Schalter mit sechs Stellungen umfaBt
folgende Funktionen:

abgeschaltet, damit Sie Uber Kopfhorer
horen konnen.
A: Die an die Ausgdnge ‘‘A” angeschlos-
senen Lautsprecher sind in Betrieb.
B: Die an die Ausgdnge '’B’’ angeschlos-
senen Lautsprecher sind in Betrieb.
Ce Die an die Ausgange ‘'C’’ angeschlos-
senen Lautsprecher sind in Betrieb.
Alle an die ‘A’ und ‘'B” angeschlos-
senen Lautsprecher sind in Betrieb.
Atle an die ‘‘A” und "’C” angeschlos-
senen Lautsprecher sind in Betrieb.
Tiefenregler (TIEFEN)
Mittels dieses Kombiknopfes werden die
Basse des linken und rechten Kanals ein-
gestellt. Beide Knopfe werden gewohnlich
gemeinsam versteilt. Sie kOnnen sie jedoch
getrennt verstellen, indem Sie den einen
Knopf festhalten und den anderen drehen.
Mittelstellung beider Knopfe ergibt linearen
Frequenzgang.
Klangreglerabschaltung (LINEAR)
Wenn dieser Schalter auf EIN steht, ergibt
sich ein linearer Frequenzgang, unabhangig
von den Stellungen der Tiefen- und HGhen-
regler.
Hohenregler (HOHEN)
Mittels dieses Kombiknopfes werden die
Hoéhen des linken und rechten Kanals ein-
gestellt. Die Einstellung erfolgt wie unter
(4), Tiefenregler.
Rumpelfilter (RUMPELFILTER)
Wenn der Schaiter auf EIN steht, werden
niederfrequente Stdrgerdusche wie Platten-
spielerrumpeln unterdrickt.
Rauschfilter (HOHENFILTER)
Wenn der Schalter auf EIN steht, werden
hochfrequente Stdrgerdusche wie Schall-
plattenkratzen unterdruckt.
Lautstarke/Balanceregler
BALANCE)
Uber den Lautstarkeregler (LAUTSTARKE)
(innerer Knopf) wird die Lautstarke beider
Kandle geregelt. Mit dem Balanceregler
(BALANCE) (duSerer Knopf) kann die
Lautstarke der beiden Kanale ausbalanciert
werden. Normalerweise klingen beide Kanale
bei Mittelstellung gleich laut.
Loudness-Schalter (LOUDNESS)
Verwenden Sie den Schalter nur bei niedrigen
Lautstarken. In Stellung EIN wird durch auto-
matisches Anheben der niedrigen und hohen
Frequenzanteile das Absinken der Horemp-
findlichkeit kompensiert. Bei normaler und
