warranty coverage

supplemental

not

lieu
of the United

Limited Warranty which

received by the
original
consumer purchaser
with

The
Nikon product except for batteries
is
warranted by
NIKON
CORPORATION,
Tokyo,
Japan
to
be
free from defects
in
materials or workmanship for a period
of
one
(1)
year from the date
of
purchase.

any one
of
the
international
repair
facilities will
repair
without
charge any parts or assembly
of
parts found
to
be defective
in
materials
or workmanship, subject
to
the
following limitations
and exclusions:

warranty extends
to
the
original
consumer purchaser
only
and
is
not
assignable or
transferable.
2.
This
warranty
shall
not
extend
to
any product which
has
been subject
to
misuse,
alteration, abuse,
negligence,
accident or unauthorized repair or
has
had
its
serial
number
altered
or removed.
The above
warranty
is
expressly in
lieu
of
all
other
warranties expressed
or
implied including
but
not
limited
to
any
implied
warranty
of
merchantability
or
fitness
for
particular purpose, except
to
the
extent
prohibited
by
applicable
law, in
which
event
the
duration
of
any
implied
warranty
shall
be
limited
to
one (1) year
from
the
date
of
purchase
or
such
longer
period
as
may be required
by
applicable law.

liable
for

incidental damages arising

of

to

breach

warranty
or

not
limited

claims

negligence, strict
liability
or
breach
of
contract.

allow

limitations

long
an implied
warranty
lasts
or

the
exclusion

incidental

consequential damages

limitations

exclusions may

service, the

return the Nikon product, either
in
person or addressed
to
the Warranty Department
of
any authorized repair
facility listed on the above website, together
with
proof
of
purchase and proof
of
purchase date
(bill
of
sale)
and this warranty.
The
original
consumer purchaser in returning this product must prepay
all
postage, shipping, transportation, insurance and
delivery
costs
to
the repair
facility.
