Teleconverter care
Although you should always keep the teleconverter's lens surfaces clean, rough cleaning must be
avoided. Wipe with a soft, clean cotton cloth moistened with alcohol to remove grease or fingerprints
from the lens surfaces.
Be careful not to soil or scratch the teleconverter's lens surface.
Keep both front and rear lens caps in place when you are not using the teleconverter.
If you do not intend to use the teleconverter for a long time, protect it from rust and mold by storing it
in a cool, dry place. Also, do not store it in direct sunlight, and keep it away from naphthalene or
camphor.
Be careful not to get the teleconverter wet or drop it in water. Water may cause it to malfunction.
