Overview

The Ninja Professional Plus Blender Duo with Auto-iQ (BN750 Series) is a versatile kitchen appliance designed for a variety of blending tasks, from smoothies to ice crushing and nutrient extraction. It features intelligent preset programs and manual speed controls, making it suitable for both novice and experienced users.

Function Description:

The Ninja Professional Plus Blender Duo is engineered to handle a wide range of ingredients and textures. Its primary function is blending, which it performs using powerful motor bases and specialized blade assemblies. The "Duo" aspect refers to its ability to operate with two different types of containers: a large Total Crushing Pitcher for bulk processing and a smaller Single-Serve Cup for individual portions.

The core of its intelligence lies in the Auto-iQ® Programs. These are intelligent preset programs that combine unique blending and pausing patterns to achieve optimal results for specific tasks. Once a program is selected, the blender automatically starts and stops when the blending is complete, eliminating guesswork. Users can also manually stop a program by pressing the active button again.

For the Total Crushing Pitcher, Auto-iQ programs include:

  • SMOOTHIE: Designed to create super-smooth, sippable drinks and shakes from fresh or frozen fruit, liquids, and ice.
  • ICE CRUSH: Specifically formulated to turn ice, juices, and fruit into expertly blended frozen drinks.
  • EXTRACT: This program is ideal for tough, leafy, or fibrous whole fruits and vegetables, including their skins, seeds, and stems, aiming for maximum nutrient extraction.

For the Single-Serve Cup, the available Auto-iQ programs are:

  • SMOOTHIE: Similar to the pitcher's smoothie program, but optimized for single-serve portions.
  • ICE CRUSH: Also optimized for single-serve frozen drinks.
  • EXTRACT: Designed for extracting nutrients from whole fruits and vegetables in smaller quantities.

In addition to Auto-iQ, the blender offers manual programs for greater control:

  • LOW, MEDIUM, and HIGH: These speeds run continuously until manually turned off. They do not integrate with preset programs.
  • PULSE: This feature provides greater control over pulsing and blending. It operates only when the PULSE button is pressed, allowing for short presses for quick pulses and longer presses for more extended blending.

The unit is designed with a safety interlock mechanism, ensuring that it will only operate when the container and lid are properly installed. The control panel illuminates the available functions based on the detected container, providing a user-friendly experience.

Usage Features:

The Ninja Professional Plus Blender Duo is designed for ease of use with clear instructions for both the Total Crushing Pitcher and the Single-Serve Cup.

Using the Total Crushing Pitcher:

  1. Setup: The motor base should be placed on a clean, dry, level surface.
  2. Pitcher Installation: The Total Crushing Pitcher is lowered onto the motor base, aligning the handle slightly to the right and ensuring the LOCK symbols are visible. It is then rotated clockwise until it clicks into place.
  3. Blade Assembly: The Stacked Blade Assembly is carefully grasped by the top of the shaft and placed onto the drive gear inside the pitcher. It fits loosely.
  4. Adding Ingredients: Ingredients are added to the pitcher, taking care not to exceed the MAX LIQUID line.
  5. Lid Installation: The lid is placed on the pitcher, aligning the triangle symbol on the lid with the triangle symbol on the handle. The handle is pressed down until it clicks into place, ensuring the triangle symbols are aligned for the lid to lock and the unit to operate.
  6. Power On: Once the lid is locked, the Power button is pressed to turn the unit on, and available program buttons will illuminate.
  7. Blending:
    • For Auto-iQ programs, the desired program is selected, and the unit will automatically stop.
    • For manual programs, the desired speed (LOW, MED, HIGH) is selected, and the unit runs continuously until the button is pressed again to stop. PULSE is used for controlled bursts.
  8. Pouring/Emptying: For thinner mixtures, the pour spout cap can be opened while the lid remains locked. For thicker mixtures, the lid and Stacked Blade Assembly must be removed before emptying. The lid is removed by pressing the RELEASE button and lifting the handle. The blade assembly is removed by grasping the top of the shaft and pulling straight up.
  9. Removal: To remove the pitcher from the motor base, it is turned counterclockwise and lifted up.
  10. Shutdown: The unit is turned off by pressing the Power button and unplugged.

Using the Single-Serve Cup:

  1. Setup: The motor base is placed on a clean, dry, level surface.
  2. Adding Ingredients: Ingredients are added to the Single-Serve Cup, ensuring not to exceed the MAX LIQUID line.
  3. Blade Assembly: The Pro Extractor Blades® Assembly is installed onto the top of the cup by twisting it clockwise until it's sealed tightly.
  4. Cup Installation: The cup is turned upside down and installed on the motor base. Tabs on the cup are aligned with slots on the base, and the cup is rotated clockwise until it clicks into place.
  5. Power On: Once the cup is locked, the Power button is pressed to turn the unit on, and available program buttons will illuminate.
  6. Blending:
    • For Auto-iQ programs, the desired program is selected, and the unit will automatically stop.
    • For manual programs, the desired speed is selected, and the unit runs continuously until the button is pressed again to stop.
  7. Removal: To remove the cup from the motor base, it is turned counterclockwise and lifted up.
  8. Blade Removal: The Pro Extractor Blades® Assembly is removed by twisting the cap counterclockwise.
  9. On-the-Go: For immediate consumption, a Spout Lid can be placed onto the Single-Serve Cup and twisted clockwise until firmly sealed. For storing ingredients, only the Spout Lid should be used.
  10. Shutdown: The unit is turned off by pressing the Power button and unplugged.

Maintenance Features:

Proper care and maintenance are crucial for the longevity and safe operation of the Ninja Professional Plus Blender Duo.

Cleaning:

  • Separation: All parts should be separated before cleaning.
  • Hand-Washing: Containers, lids, and blade assemblies should be washed in warm, soapy water using a dishwashing utensil with a handle to avoid direct contact with the sharp blades. All parts should be thoroughly rinsed and air-dried.
  • Dishwasher: All attachments are BPA-free and dishwasher safe. It is recommended to place containers, lids, and blade assemblies on the top rack of the dishwasher. Blade assemblies and lids must be removed from containers before placing them in the dishwasher.
  • Motor Base: The unit should be turned off and unplugged before cleaning the motor base. It should be wiped with a clean, damp cloth. Abrasive cloths, pads, or brushes should not be used on the base.

Storing:

  • The power cord should be wrapped around the cord wrap on the back of the motor base.
  • The unit should be stored upright, with all blade assemblies stored inside or attached to their respective containers, and lids locked in place.
  • Blended or unblended ingredients should NOT be stored in the Single-Serve Cup with the Pro Extractor Blades® Assembly attached.
  • Items should not be stacked on top of the containers to prevent damage or hazards.

Resetting the Motor:

The unit has a unique safety system to prevent motor and drive system damage from overloading. If an overload occurs, the motor will temporarily disable. To reset:

  1. Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet.
  2. Allow the unit to cool for approximately 15 minutes.
  3. Remove the container's lid and blade assembly.
  4. Empty the container and ensure no ingredients are jamming the blade assembly. It is important to ensure that maximum capacities are not exceeded, as this is a common cause of overload.

Troubleshooting Guide:

The manual provides guidance for common issues:

  • Flashing LEDs on control panel: Indicates no container is installed. Installing a container will illuminate available programs.
  • Flashing Manual Program LEDs (Low, Medium, High, Pulse): Suggests the unit is overloaded. Unplug, cool for 30 minutes, and remove contents/blade assembly to clear jams.
  • Lid/Pro Extractor Blades® Assembly hard to install: Ensure proper alignment of threads and twist clockwise for a tight seal.
  • Unit doesn't mix well/ingredients stuck: Use Auto-iQ programs for best results. Adding liquid can help if ingredients are stuck. When filling the cup, layer ingredients correctly (fresh fruit/veggies first, then leafy greens, then liquids/yogurt, then seeds/powders/nut butters, then ice/frozen ingredients).
  • Unit moves on counter: Ensure the surface and feet of the unit are clean and dry.
  • Preset program not working: The unit detects the installed container. Ensure the selected program is compatible with the container in use.
  • Unit doesn't create snow from solid ice: Use ice directly from the freezer. Start with pulses, then use a continuous blending cycle.
  • Pitcher lid handle won't fold down: The handle will only fold down when attached to the pitcher and pressed into place.

The Ninja Professional Plus Blender Duo is designed for household use only, and users are strongly advised to review all safety warnings before operation.
