HEADLAMP
Before first use, INSTALL BRACKET with elastic headstrap:
• Align flatter part of bracket with bottom edge of headlamp (lettering on
strap should be right side up).
• Orient posts in bracket to small holes on either side of the headlamp.
• Snap bracket posts into holes in headlamp.

Headlamp OPERATION GUIDE:
To TURN ON White or Red LED:
• From the Off mode, swipe left (in the direction of the
white arrow on swipe pad) for White LED.
• From the Off mode, swipe right (in the direction of the
red arrow) for Red LED.
To toggle through MODES (High, Medium, Flash, Off):
• Swipe once to enter High mode (left for White LED or
right for Red LED).
• Swipe 2 times to enter Medium mode. Swipes must
be repeated within 2 seconds.
• Swipe 3 times to enter Flash mode. Swipes must be
repeated within 2 seconds.
• In any mode, after a 3 second delay, swiping once will
turn Off the STS
™

To operate VARIABLE DIM Mode:
• Swipe once to enter High mode (left for White LED or
right for Red LED).
• Immediately press and hold anywhere on swipe pad
to enter Variable Dim mode.
• Light will dim down and blink once when lowest dim
level has been reached; then dim level will increase
to highest level.
• Release hold when desired light level is reached.

To ENGAGE LOCKOUT MODE:
• STS
™
Headlamp can be placed into Lockout mode to
avoid accidental operation during storage or
transport. Headlamp must be in Off mode to engage
Lockout mode.
• From Off mode, use two fingers to press and hold
anywhere on swipe pad. Red LED will blink once.
• Within 1 second, swipe in either direction. Red LED
will blink rapidly for 1 second and then Headlamp
will enter Lockout mode.
• In Lockout mode, swiping in either direction will
cause Red LED to blink rapidly for 1 second and then
turn Off.
To EXIT LOCKOUT MODE:
• With two fingers, press and hold anywhere on
swipe pad. White LED will blink once.
• Within 1 second, swipe left for White LED or swipe
right for Red LED. This exits Lockout mode.
• If no swipe is made within 1 second, STS
™
Headlamp will remain in Lockout mode.
• If you forget how to exit Lockout mode, remove and
re-insert batteries (following instructions below) to
return to Standard Operating mode.
