This document describes the Noblewell Office Chair, models NWOC2B and NWOC2W, providing an instruction manual for assembly, features, and safety information.

Function Description:

The Noblewell Office Chair is designed to provide comfortable seating for office use, featuring multiple adjustable components to suit individual preferences and promote ergonomic posture. It allows for height adjustment, rocking tension control, and a locking rocking mode. The chair is intended for single-person use and is built with a focus on durability and user safety.

Important Technical Specifications:

The manual does not explicitly list technical specifications such as dimensions, weight capacity, or materials used, but it details the components included for assembly. These components are:

Back (1x): The main backrest of the chair.
Seat (1x): The main seating surface.
Leg (1x): The five-star base of the chair, available in two models (NWOC2W or NWOC2B).
Armrest (2x): Left (L) and Right (R) armrests, which are flip-up.
Castor (5x): Wheels for mobility.
Gas Lift Cylinder (1x): For height adjustment.
Mechanism (1x): The control unit under the seat for adjustments.
M6 x 16mm Short Bolt (A) (4x): Used for attaching the mechanism to the seat.
M6 x 25mm Long Bolt (B) (8x): Used for attaching armrests to the back and then to the seat.
Φ6 Washer (C) (4x): Used with the long bolts when attaching armrests to the seat.
13/64in.(5mm) Allen Key (D) (1x): The tool required for assembly.

Usage Features:

The Noblewell Office Chair offers several key features for user comfort and adjustability:

Height Adjustment: To adjust the chair's height, the user pulls up the handle. To lock the desired height, the user presses the handle down. This allows for customization to different desk heights and user statures.
Flip-Up Armrest: The armrests are designed to flip up, providing flexibility for users who may want to push the chair closer to a desk or prefer to sit without armrests at times.
Rocking Tension Adjustment: A knob located under the seat allows the user to control the tension of the rocking mechanism. Turning the knob in the [+] direction increases the rocking tension, making it harder to rock, while turning it in the [-] direction decreases the tension, allowing for easier rocking.
Rocking Mode of the Back: The chair features a rocking function for the backrest. To activate the rocking mode, the user pulls the handle out, allowing the back to rock freely. To lock the rocking mode and keep the backrest in a fixed position, the user pushes the handle in.

Maintenance Features:

The manual primarily focuses on safety and assembly rather than explicit maintenance features. However, it provides crucial safety information that indirectly contributes to the longevity and proper functioning of the chair:

Pre-Assembly Check: Users are instructed to check package contents against the supplied parts list to ensure all components are received undamaged. This proactive step helps prevent assembly with faulty parts that could lead to premature wear or failure.
Contact for Replacement Parts: If damaged or defective parts are found, users are advised to contact NOBLEWELL customer service at supportus@noblewellfurni.com for replacements. This ensures that only functional components are used, maintaining the chair's integrity.
Proper Usage Guidelines:
- One Person Per Chair: The chair is designed for a single user, preventing excessive stress on components.
- Flat Surface Use: Using the chair on a flat surface ensures stability and prevents uneven wear on the base and castors.
- Child Safety: Children under 5 years old should not sit on the chair alone, preventing potential accidents or damage from improper use.
- Avoid Sitting on Armrest: Sitting on the armrest is explicitly warned against as it can cause damage to the chair.
- No Standing/Climbing: The chair should not be used as a ladder or stair, preventing structural damage and user injury.
- No Heavy Objects/Trolley Use: Placing heavy objects on the chair or using it as a trolley is prohibited to prevent damage to the chair's structure and mechanism.
- Hand Safety: Users are advised to keep hands away from the seat base mechanism (except the knob) to avoid injuries.
- Avoid Scratching: Do not use sharp or hooked items to scratch the chair, preserving its aesthetic and material integrity.
- Keep Away from Fire: This is a standard safety precaution to prevent material damage or fire hazards.
- Proper Sitting Position: Users should sit completely at the end of the chair and avoid sitting on the front of the seat to prevent tipping. When standing up, users should clench the armrests for support, indicating a recommended method for safe dismounting.

By adhering to these safety and usage guidelines, users can ensure the chair remains in good condition and functions as intended for a longer period. The availability of technical support via phone (1-800-556-2032 Mon-Fri 10am – 5pm PST for USA/CAN) further supports users in maintaining their product.
