Do NOT store your Device near magnetic fields,
as it may malfunction or the battery may discharge
from exposure to magnetic fields. Do NOT use
carrying cases or accessories with magnetic closures or allow
your device to come into contact with magnetic fields for
prolonged periods of time. Do NOT store Device with metal
objects including coins, keys and jewlery.
Avoid exposing Device to dramatic changes in temperature
or humidity. Exposing Device to extreme temperatures
may result in injury, explosion of the Device and damage to
property. Do NOT store the Device in vehicle, and do NOT
expose Device to direct sunlight for extended periods of time
such as the dashboard of a vehicle. Do NOT place battery
in a fire, or other heating device (i.e., microwave, stove, or
heater). Avoid exposing the device to high external pressure,
which can lead to an internal short circuit or overheating.
Cleaning. Clean Device immediately if it comes in contact
with any dust or airborne particles. Before cleaning, you must
disconnect all cables and turn the Device off. Use a soft, lint-
free (microfiber) cloth. Avoid getting moisture in any ports or
openings. Do NOT use cleaning products or compressed air.
Battery Charging. Charge the Device with the included
USB speed cable and a NOCO 10-watt power adapter (not
included). A third-party USB cable and 10W-watt power
adapter that are compatible with USB 2.0 or power adapters
compliant with one or more of the following standards EN
301489-34, IEC 62684, YD/T 1591-2009, CNS 15285,
ITUL.1000. Be cautious of using low quality power adaptors,
as they may present a serious electrical risk that can result in
injury to person, Device, and property. If using a third party
USB power adapter, contact the manufacturer(s) to find out if
your power adapter complies with the above standards.
Using damaged cables or chargers, or charging when
moisture is present, can result in electric shock. Using generic
or third-party power adapter may shorten the life of your
device and cause the Device to malfunction. NOCO is NOT
responsible for the user’s safety when using accessories or
supplies that are NOT approved by NOCO.
Modification. Do NOT open the Device and do NOT
attempt to repair, repurpose or modify any or all of the
Device. Disassembling Device may cause bodily injury and/or
damage to the Device and property. If Device malfuctions or
becomes damaged, or comes in contact with liquid, contact
NOCO Support. Any modification to this Device will void your
warranty.
The Battery. The built-in lithium-ion battery in the Device
should be replaced only by NOCO, and must be recycled
or disposed of separately from household waste. Do NOT
attempt to replace the battery yourself and do NOT handle
a damaged or leaking lithium-ion Device battery. Never
dispose of battery in household trash. Disposal of batteries
in household trash is unlawful under state and federal
environmental laws and regulations. Always take used
batteries to your local battery recycling center. If the Device
battery is excessively hot, emitting an odor, deformed, cut, or
is experiencing or demonstrating an abnormal occurrence,
immediately stop all use and contact NOCO.
Operating Temperature. Device is designed to work in
ambient temperatures between 41° and 95° F (5° and 35° C)
and stored in temperatures between 32° and 113° F (0° and
45° C). Device can be damaged and battery life shortened if
stored or operated outside of ambient temperature ranges.
Never charge or operate if Device battery is frozen.
You may NOT be able to use the Device when the ambient
temperature is outside the operating range. If the Device
can’t regulate its internal temperature, it goes into deep Sleep
Mode until it cools. If Sleep Mode is activated, move Device
to a cooler location out of direct sunlight and wait fifteen (15)
minutes before using Device again.
Storage. Do NOT use or store your Device in areas with
high concentrations of dust or airborne materials. Dust
or foreign materials can cause your device to malfunction
and may result in injry, fire or electric shock and damage to
property. Store your Device only on dry flat surfaces.
