Safety instructions:
After every use, check your rain fly and other parts for
possible damage. It is best to complete repairs right after
use. This way the rain fly is fully functional for future
outings.
1.
To dry the rain fly of condensation, it is generally
sufficient to lay the rain fly out for about 30 minutes or
hang it over a clothesline.
2.
In high humidity or after rain, before a long period of
storage, you must ensure that the material is dry.
3.
If you have to pack the rain fly when it is wet, assemble it
again the next day whenever possible to let it dry out. If
this is not possible, at least take it out of the dry bag and
spread it out in a dry spot.
4.
When not in use, keep the rain fly out of direct sunlight
and store it dry in a cool place.
5.
Dry your rain fly after every use because condensation
occurs in any kind of weather.
1.
Do not use wash-in waterproofing or other chemicals.
2.
Rinse rain fly fabric thoroughly with clear water.
3.
Do not wring out the wet rain fly.
4.
Hang the wet rain fly up to dry.
5.
If needed, clean the rain fly by hand with a mild soap
solution and a soft sponge – natural soap is well suited.
1.
The rain fly is flammable. Keep all flame and heat sources
away from the rain fly fabric. Never place a stove,
campfire, or any other flame source near your rain fly.
Serious burns are possible.
2.
Assemble your rain fly in the shade whenever possible
to prevent UV-related ageing. UV radiation accelerates
the natural ageing of the rain fly fabric. The radiation
triggers physical and chemical processes that can
manifest themselves in a deterioration of the mechanical
properties, in a loss of the degree of gloss, and
discoloration.
3.
Carefully consider the possibility of falling rocks or tree
limbs, lightning strikes, flash floods, avalanches, strong
winds, and other objective hazards when choosing a
campsite to reduce the risk of loss or injury.
4.
Do not allow children to swing on or hang from any part
of this rain fly, organizers, or guylines. Failure to follow
these warnings may result in injury and/or death.
5.
Do not modify the rain fly. Modifications will void the
warranty.
