Find two tall, strong trees to
set up your rain fl y.
Loop one end of the ridgeline
rope around the fi rst tree and
secure it with a carabiner. Do
the same for the other tree.
Secure the tarp to the
carabiner using the center
tie-out. Do the same for the
other side of the tarp.
Attach a carabiner to all four corners of the tarp. Connect a
guyline rope with a stake to each carabiner. Finally, use the stakes
to secure the tarp in place.

Find Suitable Trees

Locate two tall, strong trees to attach your rain fly.

Attach carabiners to tarp corners, connect guylines with stakes, and secure the tarp.

Dry After Every Use

Dry your rain fly after every use to prevent condensation.

Drying Methods for Condensation

Lay fly out for 30 mins or hang over clothesline to dry condensation.

Ensure Dryness Before Storage

Ensure material is dry before long-term storage, especially after high humidity or rain.

Drying Wet Packed Fly

Re-assemble and dry wet-packed fly next day, or spread out in a dry spot.

Storage Recommendations

Store dry in a cool place, away from direct sunlight.

Cleaning Instructions

Hand Wash with Mild Soap

Clean by hand with mild soap solution and a soft sponge; natural soap is suitable.

Avoid Chemicals

Do not use wash-in waterproofing or other chemicals.

Rinse Thoroughly

Rinse rain fly fabric thoroughly with clear water.

Do Not Wring

Do not wring out the wet rain fly.

Hang to Dry

Hang the wet rain fly up to dry.

Safety Instructions

Inspect for Damage

Check rain fly and parts for damage after each use and complete repairs promptly.

Flammability Warning

Keep away from flames and heat sources; rain fly is flammable.

UV Radiation Effects

Assemble in shade to prevent UV-related ageing and material deterioration.
