With the Nokia 3220 phone, you can send any combination of pictures, video clips,
sound clips, and text using multimedia messaging (MMS). Other messaging features
include text messaging (SMS), instant messaging (IM), and e-mail using SMS.
Send a video clip with MMS
1. From the Start screen, press Menu.
2. With Messages highlighted, press Select (fig. 3.1).
3. With Create message highlighted, press Select
.
4. Scroll down to Multimedia msg. and press Select (fig. 3.2).
5. Type the text of the message.
6. Press the left Selection key labeled Options
.
7. Scroll down to Insert and press Select
.
8. Scroll down to Video clip and press Select
.
9. Scroll to highlight the Video clips folder and press Open
.
10. Scroll to highlight the video clip you want to insert and press Options
.
11. With Insert highlighted, press Select
.
12. The video clip is now added. Type your message using the keypad and
press Send (fig. 3.3).
13. Type the number and press OK
.
14. You receive a prompt that the message has been placed in the Outbox.
15. A moment later you will receive a confirmation regarding the message status.

Your Nokia 3220 phone has a host of fun features including a built-in camera and
video recorder to help you share those memorable moments.
Take a picture
1. Start the camera by pressing the scroll key up once at the Start screen.
The phone display becomes the view screen (fig. 2.1).
2. Press Capture to take the picture.
The picture is displayed and automatically saved in the Gallery.
3. Press the left Selection key labeled Options for imaging options.
4. Or press the center of the scroll key to Send the picture.
Make a video
1. Start the camera by pressing the scroll key up once at the Start screen.
The phone display becomes the view screen (fig. 2.1).
2. Press the scroll key right or left to cycle through the camera options until
Video is displayed at the top of the screen (fig. 2.2).
3. Press Record to capture the video.
4. Press the right Selection key labeled Stop to end recording.
The video clip is automatically saved in the Gallery.
5. Press the left Selection key labeled Options for video options.
6. Or press Play to watch the recorded video (fig. 2.3).

Lights
This feature allows you to assign your own
light story to your favorite callers or groups.
Located under the grips, the lights work in
sequence with ring tones, alarms and games.
Power key
Press and hold to turn phone on or off.
Press and release to change profiles.
Active TFT Color Display
Displaying up to 65,536 colors, the active
display becomes the view screen for the
camera and video recorder.
Five Way Scroll Key
From the Start screen, use the five
way scroll key for instant access to:
Camera
Calendar
Contacts
New message
Menu
