availability status is online or offline, respectively. See Connect to the

You have received one or several instant messages and you are connected
to the instant messaging service. See Connect to the instant messaging

The phone keypad is locked. See Keypad lock (keyguard) p. 29.
The phone does not ring for an incoming call or text message when
Incoming call alert is set to Off and Message alert tone is set to Off. See
Tones p. 70.
The alarm clock is set to On. See Alarm clock p. 97.
When the EGPRS connection mode Always online is selected and the
EGPRS service is available, the indicator is shown on the top left of the
display. See Packet data (EGPRS) p. 78.
When the EGPRS connection is established, the indicator is shown on the
top left of the display. See Packet data (EGPRS) p. 78 and Browse pages
p. 111.
The EGPRS connection is suspended (on hold), for example if there is an
incoming or outgoing call during the EGPRS dial-up connection.
