Listen to the radio
Select Menu > Media > Radio. To scroll to the desired frequency, select
or , or press the headset key. To select a radio station, briefly press the
corresponding number keys. To adjust the volume, press the volume keys.
Select from the following options:
• Turn off — to turn off the radio
• Save station — to save the currently tuned in station
• Stations — to select the list of saved stations. To delete or rename a station,
scroll to the desired station, and select Options > Delete station or
Rename.
• Search all stations — to automatically search the available stations at your
location
• Set frequency — to enter the frequency of the desired radio station
• Settings — Select RDS on to display information from the radio data system
of the tuned in station. Select Auto-freq. change on to enable the automatic
switch to a frequency with the best reception of the tuned in station. Select
Loudspeaker or Headset to listen to the radio using the loudspeaker or
headset. Keep the headset connected to the device. The lead of the headset
functions as the radio antenna. Select Mono output or Stereo output to
listen to the radio in monophonic sound or in stereo.
• Station directory — to access a website with a list of radio stations
• Visual Radio — to start visual radio manually
• Enable visual service — Select Automatically to set whether Visual Radio
(network service) automatically starts when you turn on the radio. Some
radio stations may send text or graphical information that you can view
using the Visual Radio application. To check the availability and costs, contact
your service provider.
When an application using a packet data or HSCSD connection sends or receives
data, it may interfere with the radio.
