1. Insert the SIM and memory
card
1. Open the SIM card tray: push the tray opener pin
in the tray hole and slide the tray out.
2. If you have a single-SIM phone, put a nano-SIM
card in slot 1 and a memory card in slot 2 on the
tray with the contact areas face down. If you have a
dual-SIM phone, put a nano-SIM card in slot 1 and
either a second SIM or a memory card in slot 2 with
the contact areas face down.
Tip: To find out if your phone can use 2 SIM cards,
see the label on the sales box. If there are 2 IMEI
codes on the label, you have a dual-SIM phone.
3. Slide the tray back in.
Use only original nano-SIM cards. Use of incompati-
ble SIM cards may damage the card or the device,
and may corrupt data stored on the card.
Use only compatible memory cards approved for
use with this device. Incompatible cards may dam-
age the card and the device and corrupt data stored
on the card.
Important: Do not remove the memory card
when an app is using it. Doing so may damage the
memory card and the device and corrupt data
stored on the card.
Both SIM cards are available at the same time when
the device is not being used, but while one SIM card
is active, for example, making a call, the other may
be unavailable.
Note: 5G may not be available when two SIM
cards are inserted in your phone. If you have two
SIM cards inserted, both SIM cards support 4G/3G/
2G. For more information on your SIM cards,
contact your service provider.
2. Charge the battery and switch

e phone on
Plug a compatible charger into a wall outlet, and
connect the cable to your phone. Your phone
supports the USB-C cable. You can also charge your
phone from a computer with a USB cable, but it may
take a longer time.
If the battery is completely discharged, it may take
several minutes before the charging indicator is
displayed.
To switch your phone on, press and hold the power
key until the phone vibrates. The phone guides you
through the setup.

Overview

This document describes a Nokia smartphone, model numbers TA-1341 and TA-1344. It provides instructions for initial setup, including SIM and memory card insertion, battery charging, and powering on the device, along with important product and safety information.

Device Overview and Functions:

The Nokia smartphone features a modern design with a front camera, earpiece, and microphone on the top front. The right side includes volume keys and a power/lock key which also functions as a fingerprint sensor. The bottom edge houses a loudspeaker, microphone, headset connector, and a USB-C connector. Usage Features:

  • SIM and Memory Card Insertion: The tray is opened by pushing a tray opener pin into the tray hole. For single-SIM phones, a nano-SIM goes into slot 1 and a memory card into slot 2. For dual-SIM phones, a nano-SIM goes into slot 1, and either a second nano-SIM or a memory card goes into slot 2, with contact areas facing down.
  • Powering On: Press and hold the power key until the phone vibrates. The device will then guide the user through the setup process.
  • Google Assistant/Google Search: A dedicated key provides quick access to these functions. Availability of Google Assistant depends on language and country; otherwise, Google Search is used.
  • Flash: The device includes a flash for photography. Users are advised to keep a safe distance and not use it on people or animals at close range, nor cover it during use.
  • 4G/LTE Connectivity: If 4G/LTE is not supported by the network provider or when traveling, it's recommended to change the preferred network type to 3G via Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network > Advanced.
  • Electronic Label: Certification information can be accessed via Settings > System > Certification.

Maintenance Features:

  • Battery Replacement: The battery is internal and non-removable. For replacement, the device must be taken to an authorized service facility.
  • Charging: Use compatible chargers (e.g., 1-CHEUQ302-095 for EU) and USB-C cables. Charging from a computer may take longer. If the charger is not included, use the provided data cable and a USB power adaptor.
  • Memory Card Handling: Do not remove the memory card when an app is using it to prevent damage to the card or device and data corruption.
  • Magnetic Parts: The device contains magnetic parts. Avoid placing credit cards or other magnetic stripe cards near the device for extended periods to prevent damage.
  • SAR Compliance: To maintain compliance with RF exposure guidelines, use accessories that contain no metal and maintain specified separation distances (0.5 cm for CE, 1.0 cm for FCC) between the user's body and the handset.
