The N-Com B901 X Series is a communication system designed for integration into Nolan and X-Lite helmets, enhancing the riding experience with advanced audio and communication functionalities.

Function Description:

The B901 system enables Bluetooth communication with other N-Com systems, mobile phones, GPS devices, and MP3 players. It supports one-to-one intercom communication up to a maximum distance of 300 meters in open field conditions, with range varying based on helmet model (e.g., carbon fiber helmets may reduce range). The system also features a "Smart Conference" function for group intercom communication among up to four "900" series N-Com systems.

For mobile phone integration, the B901 allows users to answer calls (including a vocal answer option), make voice calls, hang up/reject calls, and manually connect to a paired phone. It includes a Speed Dial function, allowing storage of up to three favorite numbers for quick dialing. A phone conference call function enables sharing mobile phone calls with other helmets in an intercom connection.

The system supports music playback from Bluetooth-connected devices (A2DP Sharing) and via cable. Users can play, pause, skip tracks (forward/rewind), and share music with other intercom users. An integrated FM radio allows listening to radio stations, with functions for turning on/off, automatic search for new stations, and changing pre-set stations.

The B901 incorporates a "VOX" function for voice-activated intercom switching, which can be enabled/disabled and sensitivity adjusted via the N-Com EASYSET program or App. An "Audio Boost" feature is available to increase the volume of all audio sources. The system can be managed and configured using the "N-Com EASYSET" application for PC or the dedicated N-Com EASYSET App for smartphones (Google Play and Apple Store). Firmware updates are also available through the website.

Usage Features:

System ON/OFF: Press "ON" for 2 seconds to turn on, 6 seconds to turn off.
Volume Adjustment: Tap "▲" or "▼" keys. Volume levels are independent for each sound source but can be adjusted universally in stand-by mode.
Auto On/Off: System enters "deep sleep" after 60 seconds of no movement, fully turns on upon movement. Turns off completely after 3 days in "deep sleep." This function is enabled by default but can be configured.
Multi-language Voice Messages: Provides system information and active function status. Default language is English, changeable via N-Com EASYSET.
Configuration Menu: Accessed by pressing "ON" for 4 seconds from a switched-off state. Allows pairing, Speed Dial setup, Smart Navi System configuration, Auto On/Off toggle, Audio Boost, and factory reset.
Keypad: Intuitive keypad for controlling various functions.
Remote Control Compatibility: Compatible with SENA RC4 remote control (N-Com system is compatible with the RC4 Remote Control by SENA).

Maintenance Features:

Battery Recharge: Full recharge recommended for at least 10 hours initially, then shorter periods. Always recharge completely when possible. If not used for a long time, fully recharge before storage and at least every 6 months to prevent damage.
Battery Level Check: Indicated by blue LED flashes upon powering on (4 flashes: 70-100%, 3 flashes: 30-70%, 2 flashes: 0-30%). A vocal indicator is also available by pressing "ON" and "♠" keys simultaneously for 3 seconds from a turned-off state.
Firmware Updates: Available from www.n-com.it to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
Cleaning: Ensure the helmet shell area is clean and grease/dirt-free before applying the adhesive keyboard.
Water Resistance: Electronic components are not waterproof. If the helmet interior gets wet, remove the N-Com system and comfort padding, then air dry. Remove the battery from its housing and let it dry.
Disposal: Dispose of the system according to local regulations for electronic waste. The crossed-out wheelie bin symbol indicates separate collection is required in the European Union.
Warranty: Limited warranty for 2 years from purchase date, covering material and manufacturing defects. Requires original sales receipt and completed warranty registration form. Tampering with the system or using incompatible accessories invalidates the warranty.
