• short power-supply cord should be used to reduce the risk
resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
• DO NOT use an extension cord with this product.
• Protect your food and follow Nomiku and FDA food safety guidelines.
Nomiku should not come into direct contact with food. Use FDA
approved boilable bags.
• Operate Nomiku in water only. Keep the water level between the
“Min” and “Max” levels indicated on Nomiku. Do not use Nomiku
for other than intended purposes.
• Keep Nomiku dry. Never operate Nomiku unless the water level is
between the indicated “Min” and “Max” levels on Nomiku. Only
the heater and circulator portion should be underwater: Do not
immerse the Nomiku cord, power box, or upper portion of Nomiku.
If Nomiku or any of its parts become submerged, unplug Nomiku
immediately and contact us.
• Pay attention to the power cord and power box. They should lie flat
on a table or counter surface, and may not hang over the edge.
Keep them away from hot surfaces and water. Always attach the
plug to Nomiku powerbox first, then plug cord into the wall outlet.
To disconnect, turn Nomiku off, then remove plug from wall outlet.
• Unplug Nomiku. Before moving it, when cleaning, and generally
when not in use. Allow Nomiku to cool before lifting or storing.
• Use Nomiku in a safe indoor environment. Do not use outdoors.
Do not use near explosive or flammable materials. Do not use with
an extension cord. Close supervision is necessary when Nomiku is
used by or near children. Do not place on or near a hot gas or
electric burner, or in a heated oven. Note: Nomiku is designed for
household use only.
• Wait for Nomiku to cool before moving. Do not touch hot surfaces.
• Remember circulated water can be very hot. Use a trivet to protect
your countertop from any container being used with Nomiku. Use
tongs to reach anything inside the water bath. Extreme caution
must be used when moving containers of hot water.
• Keep safe. If Nomiku is dropped in water, damaged, malfunctions,
or the plug or power cord appears damaged in any way, do
not use Nomiku. Contact us for repair. The use of unapproved
