HELPFUL TIPS
NEVER leave the unit unattended while operating.
Smoking
During rst use, you may notice slight smoking or a slight odor; this is normal
with most new appliances. The smoking and odor is caused by the residues
burning o the Nonstick Cooking Surface and the Heating Element. Allow
the appliance to preheat until smoke and odor no longer exists.
Testing Cakes and Brownies
Some recipes, such as brownie recipes, may take a little longer than 7 minutes to cook.
When cooking brownies and bundt cakes, it is best to test their doneness by inserting a
toothpick. When the toothpick comes out clean, the brownies and/or bundt cakes are done.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Please take care of your BAKERY BITES EXPRESS by following these
simple instructions and precautions. Cleaning is a snap.
• Disconnect from the electrical outlet by unplugging the appliance.
• Make sure the appliance is cool before cleaning.
• Clean the upper and lower Nonstick Cooking Surface
with a damp, non-abrasive cloth and dry.
• Wash detachable mini cupcake and mini bundt Cooking Trays, and Brownie
Cutter, by hand in warm, soapy water. Dry with a non-abrasive cloth or towel.
• Wipe the exterior with a damp, non-abrasive cloth and dry.
• DO NOT wash any parts in the dishwasher. Hand wash only.
• NEVER immerse appliance in water.
