The Nu Skin® RenuSpa iO™ is a cosmetic device intended for body skin stimulation and is indicated for over-the-counter use. It emits an electrical current conducted to the skin through Nu Skin Conductive Gel. The device is designed for home use and is operated by the patient. It does not prevent, diagnose, or treat any medical condition. The device is for external use only.

Usage Features:

The Nu Skin RenuSpa iO is designed to be used by adults without the need for unique skills, training, or prior knowledge.

Getting Started:
- Fully charge the device before first use. Connect the USB plug of the Wireless Charger to a USB adapter and then to a wall outlet. Place the device on the charger.
- The battery light will breathe green while charging and turn solid green when fully charged.
- A low battery level is indicated by an amber light. A critically low battery will cause the amber light to flash.
- The device may feel warm after charging; allow it to cool before a session.
Connecting to the Nu Skin Vera® App:
- Download the Nu Skin Vera® app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Ensure Bluetooth® is enabled on your phone.
- Sign in to Nu Skin Vera.
- Tap “Devices” in the navigation bar, then “Pair New Device.”
- If the device is off, press the Power button to turn it on.
- Tap “Connect” in the app to pair the device.
Session Procedure:
- Use the device with Nu Skin® Conductive Gel on clean skin.
- Apply a generous layer of gel to the area to be treated. Apply more gel as needed during the session to maintain conductivity.
- Press the Power button to turn the device on. All five indicator lights will glow, and the device will emit a tone.
- Place the device where the gel has been applied to start the session.
- Each minute of the 5-minute session is indicated by a tone and a light turning off.
- Glide the device over the skin in slow, circular motions. The device will emit an alert tone if moved too quickly.
- To turn off the device, hold the Power button until the lights turn off.
Specific Application Areas:
- Upper Arm Use: Lightly glide the device over the skin up toward the armpit and back down in slow circular movements, following arm contours. Avoid sensitive areas like the neck or décolleté.
- Abdominal Use: Lightly glide the device over the skin in close circular motions around the navel and following the contours of the outer abdomen. Avoid going too high or too low into any sensitive areas.
- Thighs and Buttocks Use: Lightly glide the device over the skin on the thighs up and in toward the body's center. Pause at the buttocks to make circular motions. Glide back down again using slow, smaller circular motions, following the contours of the thigh and buttocks. Avoid any sensitive areas.
Troubleshooting:
- Movement Alerts: If the device is moved too quickly, it will emit a sound. The session will resume when the correct movement speed is restored.
- Loss of Conductivity: If metallic nodes lose contact with the skin, the current will be interrupted, causing the device to pause, emit a tone, and the indicator lights to breathe. Apply more gel and ensure full contact.
- For unexpected operation or events, contact Nu Skin Support Services at 1-800-487-1000.
Resetting Bluetooth® Connection:
- Disconnect from Nu Skin Vera® in the app (Device Settings > Forget this Device).
- Disconnect from your phone's Bluetooth® settings (e.g., iPhone: Settings > Bluetooth > My Devices > NuSkinBDiO > Forget This Device; Android: Settings > Connections > Bluetooth > Settings icon > Forget/Unpair).
- Place the device on the charger.
- Press and hold the Power button for 5 seconds until indicator lights 1-5 flash once.
Factory Reset:
- Disconnect from Nu Skin Vera® in the app (Device Settings > Forget this Device).
- Disconnect from your phone's Bluetooth® settings.
- Place the device on the charger.
- Press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds until all indicator lights flash 3 times.

Maintenance Features:

Cleaning: After each use, clean any gel, skin, or other materials from the device and charger with a slightly damp, lint-free wipe until visibly clean. Thoroughly dry external surfaces with dry, non-linting wipes.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Do not place the device under water or any liquid. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasives.
Battery Life: To ensure a long battery life, charge the device whenever the low battery light is on. Avoid leaving the device unused for lengthy periods between charges.
Inspection: Inspect for rough, damaged, or defective surfaces. Do not use a damaged or defective device. Contact Nu Skin Support Services for any damage or defects.
No User-Serviceable Parts: Do not modify the device or attempt repairs yourself.
Disposal: Dispose of the device properly according to local laws and regulations. The device contains a lithium-ion battery requiring separate disposal from household waste. Contact your local waste management department for proper disposal and recycling options.

Contraindications, Warnings, Precautions, and Adverse Reactions:

Contraindications: Do not use on the head, face, throat, neck, décolleté, chest, thorax, upper back, groin, or areas that cannot sense touch. Not intended for children or persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities. Do not use if you have a metal implant, pacemaker, implanted defibrillator, other implanted electronic devices, suspected or diagnosed epilepsy, seizure disorder, open sore or wound, problematic or sensitive skin, or are allergic to gels or metal.
Warnings: Do not use if pregnant or trying to get pregnant, prone to pityriasis rosea, or epileptic. Consult a doctor if you have sensitive skin, wear body piercings, or are chronically ill. Do not apply electrical stimulation over painful areas. Do not use on skin areas lacking normal sensation. Only use on normal, clean, healthy skin. Do not use on open wounds, rashes, swollen/red/infected/inflamed areas, skin eruptions (e.g., phlebitis, thrombophlebitis, varicose veins), or over/near cancerous lesions or diseased tissues. Do not use near electronic monitoring equipment (cardiac monitors, ICDs, pacemakers, ECG alarms). Always use with Nu Skin® Conductive Gel. Do not reuse conductive gel. Do not operate while bathing or showering. Do not fully immerse the device in water. Do not place or store the device or charger where it may fall into water. Do not expose the device to heat or store near heat sources or in hot vehicles. Do not leave the device in extreme cold or heat.
Precautions: Use in a home setting out of direct sunlight. Do not use while sleeping or with other devices simultaneously. Do not use while driving, using machinery, or engaging in activities that pose an injury risk. Do not modify the device or use more often than recommended. For individual use only. While using, do not touch other persons, electrically live parts, or protective earth conductors. Avoid use near shortwave or microwave therapy medical equipment. Avoid stacking with other equipment. Use only accessories, transducers, and cables specified by Nu Skin. Do not use portable RF equipment closer than 12 inches (30 cm). Keep the device out of reach of children. Consult a doctor if you have suspected/diagnosed heart disease, tendencies to bleed internally, or have undergone recent surgical procedures. Long-term effects of electrical stimulation are unknown. Do not press hard on the device; apply gentle pressure for constant contact. Do not use if damaged. Safety during pregnancy or menstruation is unknown; use caution. Avoid using near strong sources of electric and magnetic fields (EMFs) like hair dryers and electric shavers.
