Flint Layout Duck Blind Instructions

1 – Layout Blind
2 – Door Panels
2 – Deck Rings
2 – Self Tapping Screws

2. Install Layout Blind
a. Install provided deck rings using self-tapping screws and washers as is shown in
the picture below.
b. Install blind over bow and stern of the Flint.
c. Connect hooks at the ends of the battens to the Deck Rings on the Flint inside
gunwale. There are a total of 4 hooks.

Summary

Install Layout Blind

Install Deck Rings

Install deck rings using self-tapping screws and washers as shown in the picture.

Position Blind on Flint

Install the blind over the bow and stern of the Flint.

Connect Battens to Deck Rings

Connect hooks at the ends of the battens to the deck rings inside the Flint gunwale (4 hooks total).

Secure Blind with Bungee Cords

Secure the blind on the Flint by cinching bungee cords on the stern end.

Install Door Panels

Connect Door Panels

Connect the door panels via buckles.

Orient Tapered End

Ensure the tapered end of the door panel faces towards the stern of the Flint.

Tighten Stern Buckle Strap

Tighten as desired using the strap on the stern end buckle.
