6.1 Cleaning the device
Caution! Under no circumstances use abra-
sive, corrosive or scratching cleaning agents
as these could damage the device.
We recommend cleaning the bottle warmer
2 with water-based surfactants and a damp
and lint-free cloth.
6.2 Disinfecting the device
Caution! To avoid damaging the device,
please observe the following:
• Do not autoclave the device.
• The device must not be sterilised with eth-
ylene oxide, radiation, steam or heat.
• Do not use disinfectants containing alco-
hol.
We recommend disinfecting the surfaces of
the device using a suitable wiping system
for surfaces, e.g.:
– Schülke mikrozid sensitive wipes
– Ecolab OXYWIPE S wipes (1.5%
hydrogen peroxide)
Use the wiping system according to the
manufacturer's instructions.
7. Maintaining and storing the device
7.1 Maintaining the device
7.1.1 Replacing the filter
The filter should be changed at regular inter-
vals as required.
1. To change the filter, remove the filter
holder 3 in the base of the device by
pulling it out.
2. Remove the filter and replace with a new
one.
3. Then fit the filter holder with the filter
back in the bottom of the device.
4. Make sure that the holder is securely
attached to the housing.
5. Dispose of the old filter with your normal
waste.
7.1.2 Electrical safety
The device should be checked for electrical
safety at least once a year and inspected for
proper condition according to DIN VDE
0701-0702:2008-06.
7.1.3 Accessories/spare parts
• Set with 20 spare filters and 1 filter

7.2 Storing the device
• We recommend retaining the packaging
of the device so it can be packed
securely if it needs transporting.
• To store the device, clean it after use and
allow to dry off completely.
• Store the device in a cool, dry place.
• Do not place bottles or other items in the
bottle warmer 2 when not in use.
8. Help with problems
Faults can occur in any electrical device. This does not necessarily mean that the device is
defective, so please check the list to see whether the fault can be eliminated.
